RE: Daniel Taylor - tugger2018 - 24-01-2021 I like sniffer am not a fan of Daniel Taylor he is like a little spoilt kid somebody has upset him at the club so it’s personal I fully back the owner and thank him for his extravagant investing thus far I am sure he is as upset if not more than us as what’s going wrong and why He can run things how he likes for me it’s his baby and he pays the wages But I do feel he has made bad managerial appointments so far which is partly down to who is advising him I would imagine it’s someone experienced who tends to lean towards old experienced managers past there sell by date But this game called football is evolving post cov19 and needs forward thinking energetic enthusiastic managers I would of liked to of seen cook ex Wigan given the job plays exciting progressive football on a budget The recruitment has been awful far to many and no quality whoever is responsible needs to go ASAP We need young hungry fast athletic strong players all over the pitch Rant over RE: Daniel Taylor - ThePromisedLand - 24-01-2021 Great idea Sniff. But seriously who should the fans turn to if we want to make ourselves heard? Supporters Club - a thing of the past sadly. Forza Garibaldi - they’re unhappy but openly state that it is not in their remit ( & fair play to them for doing what they do ). The Trust - toothless, in the pocket of the club, have achieved bugger all since their inception. So how do you suggest fans communicate with the club? How do we make our feelings known? With owners who seemingly do not want to talk to us. What is he doing to try and make things change? Is he trying to get an interview with Marinakis? Nicolas Randall? Vrentzos? All I see on Twitter is him digging Vrentzos out, digging supporter groups out and whipping up the Twitter mob. Like I say he seems to have valid criticisms but I wouldn't say he's using his position to address them, then again maybe I'm expecting too much. Just don't use this forum to advertise and to whip up your anger because as owner of this forum I don't support your movement. Good luck. I'll be watching. What are you waiting for? You can start with Barnsley at home on Saturday. There is a big difference to wanting the club operate more efficiently with a clear strategy and calling for the owners to leave. On here at least I think most want the former. Typical juvenile response. I didn’t originate the thread. You’ve just lost the argument Sniff. Good day. RE: Daniel Taylor - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 24-01-2021 But some want Taylor to fight their cause? It's on this forum written in black and white. So what is the cause exactly then if it is not to remove Vrentzos and our owners? RE: Daniel Taylor - Salvatore Matrecano - 24-01-2021 The cause is to get this club moving forward again with a clear long term plan on and off the pitch, something I am convinced we do not have. I am quite happy with the owners, they have invested very heavily, they deserve a better return. They will not get one unless there is significant change in who operates the club or how the owners demand it is run. RE: Daniel Taylor - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 24-01-2021 Thank you SM. In an ideal world I agree with you however as one person already mentioned it's already going beyond that. The Vrentzos out campaign has already started and the Marinakis out campaign will sadly follow. It's inevtitable if it doesn't stop. Unfortunately some don't want it to stop and want to whip it up more and have Taylor to front them up and to lead their cause. That will only end in one way and it won't be a happy ending either just like it wasn't with Doughty. Unfortunately at present we do not have that. Nobody wants the football club we support to fail. We want it to flourish. Perhaps it`s because some can see that all is not well at the club, and that there are problems behind the scenes, perhaps it is Vrentzos that is the problem who knows, but something is wrong Perhaps its because of the shite players we have brought to the club, and that the powers that be have learnt nothing from past mistakes and are continually making mistakes, especially with player recruitment who knows, but something is wrong All some are saying is that perhaps DT knows more than others, with what that is going on at the club, again who knows, but I would suspect that given his job and contacts within football perhaps, just perhaps DT is right, then what, is Maranakis our saviour or is he going to be a Fawaz mk 2, again who knows, but something is clearly not right at our club, and it is down to Maranakis to put it right, but so far he has not, after all he is the owner of our club and I suspect like us he is far from happy with the current situation the club finds itself in. |
