Least there is competition in the centre and most places now in the squad.
With jenkinson picked ahead of darikwa in the squad does it point towards darikwa still struggling to get back to high tempo fitness? Would have been a prime candidate to go out on loan till January to get a run of games under his belt

Let’s just remember, it wasn’t long ago that Sabri had a team pressing and playing well- it was only since lockdown it went to pot. The team wasn’t far away- an impetus of a new manager and clearer instructions may be all it needs.

As has been touted since the day of his departure, maybe there are those who felt unsure of his instructions and how he wanted them to play (putting it mildly) I envision some miraculous return to form. Will be interesting to see whether Grabban can hit a barn door again...
