Grabban to be isolated on his own all game with long balls pumped up to him. 10 men defending allowing Cardiff to have 98.7% possession.
Cardiff to score In the 55th minute after their 37th shot of the game.
Bring on ameobi, Taylor and Mighten and push for an equaliser
Concede a second in the 97th minute
Lose the game 2 nil
Sabri sacked.
New manager inherits massive squad of defenders all aged 45 and over with huge contracts and big wages.
Told he has to cut costs
Finish in 17th place this season having had 5 different managers.

I am feeling extra positive today

Yawn

I couldn’t care less about possession. Meaningless stat.

Cardiff can have as much possession as they like as long as we score when we have the ball and stop them scoring at the other end.

Really? I thought you could not concede when you have the ball, resulting in the percentage chance of the opposition scoring reducing drastically?

I see everyone is quiet today.

The calm before the storm if we lose tomorrow  :)

Most of the time it’s around 50:50 or 40:60, or at most 70:30 and bears little relation to the result.

More importantly, we don’t play a possession game under Sabri.

At the moment we don’t win under sabri, we don’t score under sabri and we don’t keep clean sheets under sabri.

Dreading the starting line up to be fair. Hoping there are signs of a more attacking intent rather than defending from the start.

At the moment no, but we amassed 70 points and our best finish in a decade playing that way so I’m more than happy for him to persist with it. The new signings should make a difference.

Hope to see:

Ameobi starting ( ahead of DaCosta )
Loic Mbe Soh in the squad ( highly unlikely )
Sow starting ( ahead of Yates )
A more experienced right back ( preferably Darikwa [ or Christie? ] )

Chances of my wishes being granted? Zero.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Cardiff City - ozzyten10 - 18-09-2020

Has Christie even signed?

Don’t think so Ozzy - hence me hedging my bets.
