Piraeus is not very nice and a bit rough.
I suggest you make the effort to go to Glyfada or the centre by tram. To get to the tram stop just cross the bridge that goes over the highway next to the stadium. It's easy but if you are not sure just ask a nice young lady, she will be glad to practice her English.
