RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - willdared - 28-02-2024 f*****g afcon.. trust it to be our players that get to the final, play in the final yet come back injured.. Shout out to Felipe by the way.. did something we all wish we could.. god knows how he wasn't sent off though RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - Salvatore Matrecano - 28-02-2024 Positives Didn’t have to do extra time and knacker the team for Saturday Don’t think we picked up more injuries We matched them for about 70 mins Almost everyone played well even if as a whole we could have done better Negatives We let them have a number of clear chances when they carved us open Seemed to run out of steam badly last third Ground full of tourists again and flat atmosphere RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - The reds - 28-02-2024 (28-02-2024, 11:54 PM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: Positives Thought the midfield was very very open, could’ve put a lorry in the gap at times. What was the point of Reyna and Ribeiro. Also thought there was a lack of desire at times non of the players look like that are fighting for the shirt imo, probably a bit harsh but that’s my overriding feeling. Second half Utd pushed higher up the pitch and we had no answer RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - ozzyten10 - 29-02-2024 Nuno worries me a bit as a one trick pony - 4231. Against Villa he was too slow to recognise the box midfield issue. Today amrabat started to dictate play from 60 minutes so he swapped over Elanga only to fail to recognise Dalot going with him- should have adjusted and pushed CHO inside but didn’t. Gave United an extra man in midfield. Awonyi had another poor game and elangas brain fart for the free kick was poor. That said - we score that goal and what’s the betting we don’t get the VAR? Feel he should have put Kouyate and Dominguez on early too. Kouyate would have been useful at that free kick! His 4231 is starting to become very predictable and teams are just overloading it - this left MGW with amrabat and cassimero to try and press. It’s a shame Origi ran out of steam. Also why not give Reyna more than 5 minutes? RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - Fumanchew - 29-02-2024 Anyone else feel awoniyi isn’t letting himself strike the ball with full force yet? RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - ozzyten10 - 29-02-2024 Shout out to Neco though - becoming very consistent and reliable with a great engine - looks a bit more pacy this year too. Turner- thought goal was his fault but on watching it not at all. Decent saves tonight and only 2 mins kicks and one mid control Neco - MOTM for us Filipe- better than Villa Murillo - passing radar not quite as good on his cross fields today - good pace Toffolo - solid enough - lacks physicality for the Premiership Danillo - very good first half and good with the ball- awful for the goal Yates - decent - Marshalled McTominay and Fernandez well MGW - industrious - good first half - still think we are missing a trick not playing him deeper Elanga- frustrating today - didn’t back himself against Dalots pace Origi- would have been MOTM if he didn’t fade so much Awonyi - poor CHO - not the same without Nuno Reyna- surely worth 20 minutes tonight? Rodrigo - maybe should have replaced Taiwo to have a decent look too. He certainly did with the one that nearly cleared the Bridgford Stand He’s not a clean striker of the ball anyway TBH Needs minutes to get his sharpness RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - BadDog - 29-02-2024 (28-02-2024, 10:51 PM)Shawoddyred Wrote: Think we're missing Chris Wood.....do we know when he's back?? April RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - Marco Polo - 29-02-2024 Very questionable January transfer window yet again for me. The keeper seems better - let’s hope he’s not injured. The other two are barely getting a kick - what was the point? January is a tough window but we’ve signed benchwarmers that we already had RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - Marco Polo - 29-02-2024 HOWEVER Look how far we’ve come - we’re containing Manchester United and disappointed we didn’t beat them Imagine that two years ago |
