RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - Floridared - 25-01-2023

we were the better team for a while there, but tie over now methinks

Oh bugger. Just when you think we are in the tie that happens.

Still plenty of time but need to get 1 back second half and definitely try to keep deficit to 1 if we stand any hope in second leg

GK and CB needed. But we haven't been bad just not the level of a top team.

As soon as he saved the initial shot my 1st thought was why has he passed it straight to the utd forward

Well we can now concentrate on the league.

However I do see some great signs of what is to come with this team. Its starting to look like its gelling and as long as we can stay up we will improve massively

Was the second just good play by the striker to get to it? Or were we slow to react? Couldn't tell from my view

Worrall and Mckenna are simply not PL standard.... And Hennesey could have done better

RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - RyanR - 25-01-2023

Danilo looks quality, carries the ball well and knows when to pass. Gibbs-White is dominating a midfielder who has won the Champions League 5 times. Johnson unlucky not to score. Scarpa growing into the game. Let’s take the positives into the league

Hennessey, worral & McKenna not been convincing at all... Been disappointed with freuler in the 1st half.. games passed him by

Danilo looks really good, Scarpa no slouch either, pity his side foot volley was saved, what a goal that would have been.
Worral slow as molasses. MGW England shirt awaits. if we keep playing like this then premier league survival is nailed on.
don't think we are going to Wembley but would love to take 3 points off them in the league.

I'm going to way overreact and say we've hit the jackpot on Danilo, looks much better than Freuler. He has to stay in the team, be interesting to see who Yates comes back in for. I presume Scarpa but he is lively too.

If only Surridge was a bit faster he'd be so much better too.

Still got Wood, Lingard, Taiwo, Yates, Boly, Hendo and Niakhate to come back into this team at some point too.

A bit of both. It was definitely poor from Hennessy to not push the shot wide though. He does that and the goal doesn't happen.
