I'm so used to defending Brennan! I meant West Ham!

Seems as if Cooper has told Lingard he needs to up his game and step up.

Hope he's said double to those playing more poor than him then

Àgree with Cooper on this.

Just not happening for Lingard is it?

Hate to say it and it may sound harsh but he was a waste of a shirt last night at Brighton.

RE: J Lingz - Redgirl - 19-10-2022

Nothing more than I expected, I didn’t want us to sign him and he’s proving me right. These luxury signings never end well at Forest, they never have. He’s stealing a living atm. What a waste of money.

RE: J Lingz - wassy04 - 19-10-2022

I'm gutted at how badly he's done, really thought he was the signing that would allow us to compete in this league. Last night was a bit of an odd game to bring him in really. I think Cooper just really doesn't like Dennis!

The problem with Dennis is that he hangs on to the ball too long, always has done and we should have known that when we bought him. Pretty sure thats why Cooper doesnt rate him.

As for Lingard, Im with you, whatever my criticism of the transfer window, I still thought he was a great signing, proper proven PL quality. How wrong could I be, he just looks totally disinterested.

RE: J Lingz - Madforit - 19-10-2022

I really hope that Cooper has seen enough of Lingard to realise that he offers nothing to the team, for us last night that was at the game last night he was a waste of a shirt, he just didn't look interested at all, it's almost like well I'm here and I'm getting paid a ridiculous wage but I'm Jesse Lingard I don't need to do anything, he was the only player that didn't need a bath after the game.

Cooper needs to start with Dennis at least he gives it a go and puts the effort in, Lingard for me is done as a player, I don't know if his head has gone and he's not interested or bothered, I really hope that the club cuts him loose in January.

I think Dennis and Awoniyi are the reason Lingard got back in, neither is playing the role Cooper wants out of them. It'll be interesting to see the fate of the three of them in January. I don't think it will be possible to move Awoniyi on without taking a massive loss, however I could see moving on from the other two. Although won't look good for Lingard if he can't even get in the Forest team so I suspect he'll stay and fight. If Cooper is still manager after the WC, I could see Dennis moved in if someone else was interested.

Well he sure made me eat my words today. Credit where it’s due he was immense. Hope this is the start of his Forest journey.

Hope we f**k him off in January.

He'd be no where near the first 11 in any other premier league side. How many more chances is he going to get? Joe Lolley would be more affective than this guy.
