RE: Pre-Season & Friendlies 2022/23 - Plymouth red - 08-07-2022 Let's face it, that second half side would struggle to stay up in the championship. Does reinforce that we need a good deal more players in as cannot see many of them featuring, even from the bench. The young ones will hopefully get a loan spell out and the not so young ones will probably need to move on. RE: Pre-Season & Friendlies 2022/23 - Salvatore Matrecano - 08-07-2022 Yep looked at that 2nd half line up only Cafu and Mighten regularly made our matchday squads last season and even then both were mostly unused subs. Having said that even the 1st half line up, which is presumably our strongest 11, full of holes, shows the scale of the rebuild needed and the importance of this preseason to get newcomers to gel. RE: Pre-Season & Friendlies 2022/23 - BadDog - 08-07-2022 Ojeda the best player second half, he looks better than Cafu. RE: Pre-Season & Friendlies 2022/23 - audiosmee - 08-07-2022 I thought Panzo looked assured with the ball and breaking the lines coming forward- although not quite as ideal in a CB pair. Mbe Soh picked out Mighten with some lovely cross field balls and danced his way past 3 players at one bit. Neither likely to challenge for 1st team at the mo though. Disappointed by Back- hope his progression hasn’t stalled. Worrall looked to be mixing up his longer forward balls rather than just a channel ball- played a few disguised low passes into TAs feet. The first half players were also probably one of the biggest sides I’ve seen in a while- both Niahkate and Biancome look big fellas RE: Pre-Season & Friendlies 2022/23 - King Joe - 08-07-2022 Worth remembering that Coventry have been back training well before us. RE: Pre-Season & Friendlies 2022/23 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 09-07-2022 I am reading nothing into this 'match' whatsoever, I didn't even bother to watch it. It was just a training exercise/workout. I tried to allude to it in my comment about how we have got one over prem sides in part due to that reason. At this kind of level if does count.
