RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Hyperkoi - 05-12-2023 That was last season, this season we are showing no fight. My memory is fine thanks RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - wassy04 - 06-12-2023 (05-12-2023, 11:59 PM)Hyperkoi Wrote: That was last season, this season we are showing no fight. My memory is fine thanks Do you think Cooper is a different guy now then? What has changed to make you think he can no longer get that type of performance anymore? Fwiw, we literally had that type of performance a few weeks ago vs Villa. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - wassy04 - 06-12-2023 Luton had 6 shots today vs Arsenal, scoring three times. When we played Arsenal at The Emirates we also had 6 shots and conceded less chances/goals. We had a way better xG and xGC than Luton did today too. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Dog and Bear - 06-12-2023 Thankfully Luton lost in the end but I am sick of looking down. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story Wassy. The facts that we both narrowly lost to Arsenal, ours being the away game? Absolutely mate and we beat them at our place in our first season. Exactly, so this myth that "Luton look way better than us", is just that a myth. We literally have more points than them by 4 having played a game less and have good fixtures to come. We are better than Luton, even the recent iteration of the team without Taiwo. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Fumanchew - 06-12-2023 Two of their goals were headers from corners, at that they’re probably better RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - DeesideRed - 06-12-2023 (05-12-2023, 11:36 PM)Hyperkoi Wrote: Luton doing exactly what i want Forest to do, but given we have Cooper its never going to happen. Seeing them play with such passion makes me realise how crap we have been and really doubt whether we can get better. Just remember Luton's style, they are very direct and it works for them. Like Bolton back in the day, some teams struggle to cope with this style, but is it really a style you want us to play? They might not have much football style but they know what they are and how to be effective. That'll get them a fair few points. It might not be enough for them to stay up but ive never been of the opinion that they're going do a Derby, as pretty much every pundit seemed to suggest would be the case. We're a completely different entity to them. Out fan base wouldn't put up with that approach. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Shawoddyred - 06-12-2023 Looks like we're going to end the night in 16th place, only 4 points above Luton and 6 above Everton, who have a game in hand...... I saw again today someone say we're not likely to go down, whatever happens...... seriously, think again!! |
