Certain signings made by Forest because they looked good against us haven't always worked out well...
David Friio, Chris Burke,Gino Padula, being three that spring to mind. Lyle Taylor still has time not to join that list....hopefully.

But we still need target man of some sort to mix things up. If Steve goes down that route.
I'd just be happy with another younger striker to can score goals and upset opposition defences.

With our options upfront then perhaps give one of the youngsters a chance. That said playing u23s and then playing some canny wily experienced championship defender is a very different prospect. That said, you never know.
It would be nice if we could produce (and hold on to) a good striker through the academy

i'm wondering if the traditional hoof down the middle of the pitch to someone who traps it or heads it might become obsolete, and has been by and large nothing more than a giving the ball back to the opposition exercise for a long time.
even SC alluded to his desire to see the ball sent intermediate distances if neccessary or at least observing they were more effective
the key is getting the team to get much better at playing from back to front
Why not try Silva running onto stuff or playing through from higher up the pitch alongside the likes of Lolley, Mighten, Johnson, maybe Silva is injured?
We have forgotten by and large how to attack, though sometimes just the desire to want to get forward with a bit of belief can make all the differance, this is good timing for the new management team

Larsson looks like the closest prospect that could fit in to our team at the minute from watching the u23s this season. He has jumped ahead of Swan for me with his all round play.

Just spoken to my Daughter about this as she is Head Physio at Grantham Town and she says that if a player has shown any symptoms of concussion from the point of the injury occurring, then she will 'ground' that player for between 10 and 14 days, ideally the latter. She carries out regular reviews with the player and has discussions with the team manager etc.
I don't think there is an actual rule per se, rather a set of guidelines the FA have set out.

I'd make the nets '5 a side' short and encourage the passing game. That's one evolution of football I'd like to see. The heading in football, to me, is a distraction.

I'm pretty sure that there was a test game at the weekend where heading was banned for one half and in the other half you could only head it inside the box.
