8.45pm Half time. At that time last week we trudged into the dressing room 0-3 and the game had gone.

Don't no if it was stupid by the club, or a pure genius of Cooper to use the leak to get a new deal, but why the hell did we do it,  we look like hughton is still here

Will we go down? Absolutely yes in my opinion but I would rather have Cooper still with us for next season to give it another go in the Championship.
Whats your alternative? Rafa? Still go down anyway with the current squad and we get some unknown in for next season with probably yet another squad upheaval. We need some stability top to bottom throughout the club.

Same, I would focus on the players you think will be here in championship next year and try and gel the team in preparation for that, with Cooper in charge.

Can't see us getting that unless we improve at least a bit though. What you said above will likely happen.

Feels like he'll get until the WC but unless there's an improvement or some lucky wins they'll make a change to try and keep us up. I can't see it working either way, I have been disappointed with some of Cooper's decisions this year but I just hope he can learn too and adjust to the step up.

We can't wave the white flag Wassy and just give up.

We need to try and stay in the PL even if that means sacking the coach.

I know it won't be a popular opinion with many on here and I am  not looking for a row but I am not against the idea of Cooper being replaced. It's a gamble of course it is but we are 100% going down as things stand right now.

So do we just accept that or do we gamble and try something different?

I am for option B.

RE: Stevie Cooper - Salvatore Matrecano - 15-10-2022

Option B is to continue in a permanent state of flux that kept us in the second division for 23 years.
I would prefer to stick with option A.
Would strongly suspect our owners patience is wearing thin though.

You change and go down, then you're back to square one. You probably have to spend a fortune paying off two managers, staff etc. A new manager will likely want more new players.

The team just don't look good enough to keep us up regardless IMO. I think Cooper has more chance of figuring it out than a new manager would but I get it looks bad.
