Norwich Fans Pre Match comments....

Forest will come with a game plan which will not be dissimilar to that of Pulis.  Chris Hughton needs to stop the rot expect more bus parking a draw against the league leaders will do nicely.  Not for the first time this season we can expect a massed defence.  Forest have looked poor in the extreme and looked dire against Reading yesterday and lost a player to a handball stopping a goal.  A scenario that mirrored the experience of Wednesday before yesterday.  Hughton with the way he tries to set up is strictly out of the Pulis handbook.  An earlier goal would be appreciated to force them to come out to play however will be happy enough with another late show.

They’ve been on Sky quite a bit lately and have been absolutely dreadful. I doubt they will provide the same level of resistance as Wednesday did.

I've got to try to stop myself running screaming from the room when I see Hughton's face

One of the Forest fans called Erik on one of their Forums, commented on our club -

‘You know, we might take the **** but there is an owner who not only is highly competent and has her club regularly punching above it's weight but who also cares passionately.

We'd kill for an owner like that.‘

anyone else remember that amazing 3-all?

An earlier goal would be appreciated to force them to come out to play

You must remind me pete when Hughton was Norwch manager when he changed our game plan having fallen behind

He changed things by bringing on another defender

Only one?

I love the way their Forum poll at the top of the page includes both of the following separate options - Norwich Win - and - Forest Lose.

Ha ha, didn’t notice that, Thirsty! Time for another read - always interesting to read other supporters message boards ahead of a game, unless it’s Brentford’s where they all just think they’re too good for this league and is therefore a bit predictable.

Always liked Nottingham Forest, generally a very good bunch in my limited experience, a historically big club with decent history though you don’t hear their fans bang on about it every 5 seconds unlike those sh1theads at Leeds - they’re a much more humble bunch

And of course Forest really were Champions of Europe - twice!!

Ha ha, exactly! They’re a club I’d like to see back in the Premier League one day for sure.

This quote from a poster on their message board made me laugh

We will absolutely batter them, raining down 2 shots on their goal, both off target.

Figueiredo will staunchly lead our stubborn defence, restricting the frustrated Canaries to just 3 goals.

A 0-3 loss and we march onwards (to league 1)‘

Sounds like they're trying to park the bus, but Helen Keller's at the steering wheel.

They're not too much into Hughton are they? They see a defensive set up.

As long as we move the ball fast on Wednesday, we should unpick them

Expecting pretty much the same team, and hopefully the same result! Some injured players back in training, but this will be a bit too soon, I think. Only possible concern from the last game is Vrancic went off rubbing the back of his leg, hopefully only cramp. Would like to see more of the young lad Martin.

I read somewhere that their first choice midfield has been hit by injuries, hopefully that's true.

I’ve looked on their forum, the general view seems to be they’ll be lucky to get a nil nil

Norwich Fans Comments.....

Don't let forest build any confidence

Ameobi always a handfall

Decent start

We need to be careful here .... they are getting the crosses in

Once again a cross into our box and ameobi just stands inbetween Zimmermann and Hanley and gets the header

Forest hit the post

Did I hear right forest only 3 wins in 20 games? That can't be right

Aarons nowhere to be seen but ameobi puts it over. Wake up city

I think we've looked decent so far. Who is it commentating on Radio Norfolk?

Nice goal,  No fancy shit just smash it

Forest have had some chances but they look poor tonight. Houghton is playing his old tactics of going a goal down and then defending.

I just feel forest will score

Forest are terrible. We should get a few more.

Just wide from forest. Man we are letting them get chances

No goal in 5 and along come norwich. f*****g joke

1-1 crap

His first goal for forest.

DF just can't see when players are shattered. He needed to change things so much earlier.

Another forest chance nearly again

We have lost it.
Forest have been so crap

2-1

I don't like the we are top of the league chant when tgere is still 15 minutes left

Forest throwing on another forward

Made hard work of that in the second half but top of the table with all those injuries. I don’t think we can argue. Once those lads on the bench get fit then there will be much more scope for Farke to change things both with personnel and tactics

Phew, nervy in the end but winning with such a threadbare squad is all that matters right now.

Forest not scored in 5, took off their strikers, and along came Norwich...Thank god for deflections.

Let's be honest, we were playing a team in record levels of bad form and scraped a win with a fortuitous deflected goal. It was pretty poor. But we were up against a ref who wanted Forest to win and obviously with our ongoing injury crisis so gotta be pleased.

Some tired legs there at the end. With so many on the injured list and a sparsity on the bench many of the players starting today have put in a lot of miles over the last two weeks, and it was telling. Nottingham Forest were capable of exploiting this more and more as the game progressed and it was a good thing that we could at least bring a couple of front liners on, albeit straight off of the treatment table, in order to grind out the points.

Millwall Fans Pre Match comments....

After Tuesday’s win at Ashton Gate we can look forward with some optimism to our game at the Den. Like many others I was looking forward to meeting with all my mates and sitting in block 29 to cheer on the Lions and berate Grabban and Lyle Taylor but, sadly that won’t happen. I will just have to shout at my PC! I am sure that there are many on here that say the GR should just play the same team. I doubt that will happen as the two games are very different. Bristol City have a young and inexperienced manager and an injury ravaged team that are near the top of this league. Forest have a very experienced manager, a team near the bottom of the league who are scrapping for points and some players who can score goals. GR would have watched their recent victory over Sheffield Wednesday and hatched a slightly different game plan from Tuesday. Can all the squad go again after four days? Do we have anybody coming back? Did we get any knocks or bruises? We don’t have a big squad so we can’t pick a whole new eleven so GR would have been watching very carefully at Calmont Road to see who is up for it.

He certainly would have had Bart practicing setting up walls for free kicks as he was within millimetres conceding a goal at Ashton Gate. I think he will have learned his lesson and will start. Romeo played well on Tuesday and the competition for his place is limited so I expect him to start. I also expect Hutch and Cooper to be the CB pairing with Murray slotting in at LB.

The first big dilemma is in midfield. Williams and Leonard formed a good partnership and Woods was not missed. After a high tempo pressing game can our 34 year old Irish international go again after four days? One certainty is that football is a easy game when you are winning and everybody wants to be part of a successful team. Leonard will be good to go again but if Williams is still recovering then maybe Woods has to come back by default. It’s a tough call. Jed will be good to go again and so will Bennett, buoyed by his great strike. Bod ran himself into the ground and Bradshaw will want to play and see if he can find the net again. Polly will be knocking on GR’s door saying I didn’t come on loan to sit on the bench and Smith will be saying that he is the top scorer so he wants to play. Maybe even KZ is nearing full fitness and wants a seat on the bench. These are nice problems for a manager to have.

Stick with 4-4-2 and have ago at forest, we should be doing this at home games especially. Forest are dog shit and once we get a win at home i think our fortune will turn.

5-0 wall

I see Romeo ended the game against QPR by raising a fist in a Black Power salute. Anything said of this? No, of course not, but if one of the white players had made a Nazi salute.....ooooh, watch out.

Hope he plays the same team and go at em from the off, gonna need a couple goals to win this one. COYL

Do you think 'The Knee' will be resurrected tomorrow as a last hurrah?

f**k the knee and f**k BLM, no way we was gonna get punished by the FA for having freedom of speech.

But with the match being played 'in camera' will they go back to making their ill-judged protest?

Hope he plays 4-4-2 at home tomorrow and attacks this Forest side. 2 wins on the bounce could turn our season around and will be a massive confidence boost to get a long over due result at home.

Some things never change.

Would have been a quality pi$$ up though in normal times.

OMG is one of those idiots genuinely comparing a black power salute with a Nazi salute? Words fail me.

Millwall fans match comments....

Nice bit of consistency in starting lineup but where is Woods, fergie, Malone?

Someone needs to give Grabban a kick in the first minute

Another ref that is f**king us from the off!

How we doing?

Jake just flattened Bennett in Forest box...I think he just missed Grabban

Referee once again fails to see a stone wall penalty. Cnt.

Clear penalty, Ref's a complete c**t.

He could've caught it and threw it out, and the c**t still wouldn't give us a penalty.
Obvious what's going on

Someone going to get sent off !

The clearest penalty you'll ever see. Ref is a class A c**t.

What was the incident mate?

Handball, accidental. But ref thought otherwise, terrible call.

Should have had a penalty for handball. Nailed on.

Grabban should have been red carded. Definite stamp.

Ref is whistle happy.

Leaving Murray one-on-one with Amoeba is asking for trouble.
Jed is having one today.
Romeo cannot cross his f*****g fingers, let alone a ball.
Bod is our best players.
Grabban is a total shitcunt. I would like to smash him and shave that stupid f*****g beard off. How Hutch or Cooper have restrained themselves from going through him is credit to their temperament.

Grabban... Nah, put his football down on top of the ball. Wasn’t even a foul. Agree he’s a shitcunt though

The referee has either been found in a Christmas cracker, or been randomly dragged off the street. Because the c**t hasn't the first clue.

Five booking for absolutely nothing and when Grabham stamps on his man for a straight red, nothing. As for the handball...no words.

As for us....I presume Neil Harris its sitting in the dugout today as I can't see any difference between his hit and hope stuff and this. We are not playing through midfield because they never show and too clumsy on the ball.

Williams' and Leonard's shooting is appalling. And with Leonard's last shot, Bennett had come off the shoulder, needed to be slipped in onto his right foot but Loenard, unable and see or prosecute the move just shoots hopelessly. Pathetic...utterly f*****g pathetic.

Father Christmas can we please have a real Championship-quality midfield instead if this Conference-standard bilge.

Oh, and iFollow, producer, get your f*****g act together, too. Stop having constant replays while attacks and choirs are going on at the other end or 15 second ganders at the manager.

Apart from that, loving it...

People really need to look at the Grabban ‘stamp’ again. He brought his foot down on top of the ball.
Not a fan of his at all and agree the refs having a nightmare but that definitely wasn’t a red card

Get in there great goal well done Bod and Bradshaw

f*****g brilliant. Great play by our front TWO! Cracking goal. Milllllllll!!!!

The handball was as stonewall as you could get and all the yellows have been soft. The forest fella who got one for fouling bod barely done anything wrong. It wasn’t even a foul! Just brushed past bod!

f*****g hell drives ya f*****g mad

Start scoring then start conceding
Classic sucker punch.

JED!!!! wtf...

Cannot believe that miss, worst this season

Jed is having a shocker.
That goal we conceded was piss f*****g poor.

Grabban.... If a crowd was in I reckon he might have gone but I am seeing it through my Millwall glasses. I f*****g hate him.

We are the better side, they are not offering much so it is obvious that they will scab a 2-1.

Amebo should have a red

Grabban stamped reckless as to if the ball was there or not. IMO red card

*****************! hope he gets aids, motor neurone disease and gets buggered by 10 blokes dirty silly bearded c**t

Jed is playing like a f*****g idiot.

Lyle Taylor, I've got a bad feeling about this.

Thats why no one will buy Jed ,thinks he is better than he is and still making wrong choice's as when he started at Wall .

These footballers are thick as shit!!

Been saying it all season, Jed just hasn't been worth a place in the side. No idea why it's gone wrong for him and would love him to put it right but at the moment he is worse than a passenger. The times he loses possession is unreal

Incredibly frustrating and the temptation to coat off certain players is hard to resist, but we have been all over them today and Forest have been very lucky today.

More possession. More shots on and off target. More corners. They are well happy with a point. This is a team that have spent millions.

Cannot afford to miss chances in this league and it’s just what’s happening, bringing on Burey for 5 mins is a waste.
When is Ken back.

That's our 7th home draw from 10 played.

Didn't watch today, but I assume that penalty decisions yet again, have went against us. Referee obviously a sky subscriber.......and that bastard Grabban. c**t. Glad Murray was playing, but from what I've read on here, a few of the lads didn't give a good account of themselves.

Sorry but Bod is a waste and Jed get the dosh for him.

I know I will be slated for this, but the sooner we get rid of Romeo and Jed the better, both of them constantly make bad decisions which IMHO is the difference between a draw and a win. For a supposedly flair player Jed does not seem to be able to hit a shot first time, had two golden opportunities to score today, 1st one made the wrong choice, 2nd one took a touch when he should have hit Bennetts lay off first time.
Romeo always overhits crosses or makes the wrong pass.

Bod just edged from Leonard for MOM. I’ve been calling for Wallace to be dropped for weeks if not months. Give Burey 60 minutes on the right. Bradshaw works extremely hard with little service but took his goal well. I am convinced the ball hit Hutchinson on the way through for their goal or otherwise would of run through to Bart. Yes another draw but we played well and controlled the game. Romeo is gone in January I reckon and after his fist in the air whilst Forest took the knee he is saying f**k you Millwall. No need for that shit after what the club has gone through. Can see a few going out in January

Thought first half was long ball nonsense.

Second half we played a bit of football. Possibly helped by the fourth official and/or the assessor going into the official's room and telling the referee that he was embarrassing himself.

Certainly played through midfield more and both Leonard and Williams had better second halves after the terrible first 45 they both had.

Hutch at fault for conceding. He was playing sweeper and should have got that ball away prettily easily but missed the clearance.

Bod was impressive throughout and Bradshaw did well to make the run, dig the ball from out under his feet and tuck it away.

As for Jed's miss. Almost unforgivable.

Romeo not the player her was: something is missing...his heart probably. Can't see him being at the club in February.

I said after the Bristol game that I had the feeling that there had been a heart-to-heart between manager and team. That I thought they had asked for two up top, less changes and substitutions on the hour.

Well, when was the last time we started with the same XI...? Continued with two up front and four at back - and substitutions on 70 rather than 58-62 minutes.

Parrott not doing it for me. Not sure how he is expecting to score on halfway line where he spends most of his time.

Peopler talk about Smith and Parrott being a great potential strike force. We'll never knew...I haven't seen them within 20 yards of each other yet...

Two points - and two places in the table - well and truly squandered today.

What a frustrating game to watch, not helped by the ref and Rowett’s substitutions. The big positive was Bod’s all round game and dare I say it forming a half decent partnership today with Bradshaw. Murray Wallace another great performance.

The big negative was Jed’s decision making. For the last 12 games or so he has been poor, continually giving the ball away or taking the wrong option. He needs dropping from the team for a few games.

RE: Opposition Fans Comments - Tricky - 19-12-2020

Thanks for taking the time to post these Joe.

Interesting how they were banging on about their 'stonewall' handball penalty decision but not one of them mentioned ours, which was an actual handball, whereas, theirs wasnt as the ball came off Mbe Sohs chest!

RE: Opposition Fans Comments - ThePromisedLand - 19-12-2020

Am I right in assuming they don’t like Grabbs?

And - despite a few recommendations on here that we should try to get Jed Wallace - they don’t seem to rate him.

Oh - and they like a bit of Anglo Saxon language...

They’re a nice bunch aren’t they!?

I do agree about the comment regarding the iFollow producer. The quality today was appalling.

That Wallace miss surprised me. I would have had him over Knockaert, Freeman or Grosicki but it looks like we may have dodged a bullet. Although fans can be quite blinded as to their own players at times.

Particularly enjoyed the 15 seconds (?) focus on the bench whilst play was continuing on the pitch  :(
