CH needs to be careful here. If we lose on Saturday, which I would say is now the likely result, then we could be going into the Derby game in two weeks time with next to no points from 4 games. And we know what follows if you lose that game off a bad run.....

That's been at the back of my thoughts, too. That he'll get the blame for the disruption to pre-season and the slow recruitment.
Hopefully the new recruitment team will expedite the quality that we're needing at LB (Left without a starting LB. ...yes, yes, we all know, SA...you keep saying...), CM (ball player...) and Striker up front (we were left without a striker v Cov' when Lyle went off...I mean...c'mon guys...)
I hope the new CEO's patience with Hughton is tempered with the patience we have for his recruitment this Summer. This isn't going to be an overnight fix.
It's like starting again. But with the right team in place. And that will mean we need to have patience if there's a slow start to the season on the pitch.

Only viable options unless we sign somebody is either Richardson or Fin Back, or potentially if the lad from Arsenal can play there. - I don’t think Colback is a realistic option as pace is required in that position v Bournemouth.
On basis that both Richardson and Fin Back are right footed, and it appears that CH rates Fin Back higher ( being on bench on Sunday) then to me it is likely to be him.
He won’t be phased at all, great prospect and great engine.

That'll do for tonight but ideally we need someone in for Saturday. It's not the game to have either a makeshift LB in or a young lad who's also makeshift.

To be honest although definitely a foul I didnt think it was that bad, he had his eye on the ball and was trying to get ahead of the player, there was no intent to shove they guy in the face. 3 game ban for that is well over the top IMO.
Edit just realised I think No3 is Figs, But you know what I mean. By the way any update on Figs? Thought he wanted to go home (GF expecting?) Assume we need another CB in before we would agree and of course the Worrall situation compounds that.

Soh seemed to do pretty solidly when tried at LB. But he's injured, ofc.
I've heard of Richardson. Sounds like Fin is really highly regarded. So perhaps time to try him out in the absence of a signing, it seems.

The point I am making is Bong getting suspended has resulted in the predictable celebrations on Twitter and everyone piling in saying it proved he is useless and he got what he deserved.
If Mckenna say had committed that offence and got a subsequent ban I suspect most would be outraged at the decision and would be rushing to defend him saying it was unintentional.

Tutu or Gabriel will surely be starting LB on Saturday if we've not signed anyone
