We've made Forest look bang average but the problem is we need 8-10 chances if not more before we score. If we present Forest with one decent goal scoring opportunity in the second half it is likely to end up in the back of the net.

Nearly had a heart attack screaming at Brown! One where he should throw himself at the ball to score but had the heart of a pea, one where he couldn’t control the ball when in on the keeper and one where he could have squared to set up Styles! And numerous miss placed passes however he did get the header to set up the goal.

I reckon it will be a draw. Our lads will be knackered after what they put in on Saturday. Look out for a few changes in our team. The last thing Michael O'Neil will want to do is to come out of the game with any of his midfielders suffering from long-term injuries, which can come about because players' legs are tired.
It matters a lot. We are in the middle of an unbeaten run - we haven't been that very often in recent years. Win one more and we have quite a momentum to carry into the new season, where we have the unbeaten run to protect. Obviously no one knows the early fixtures yet, but with a bit of luck in that regard, we could carry that on for a decent sequence. If we do, we are then already well on our way towards a successful season.

The home game seems like only yesterday. Weren’t we leading then went 3-1 down and lost by the odd goal in the end. This was then followed by the Huddersfield home defeat. This period was my low point for the season and I genuinely thought we were screwed. Praise be to MON

Can't see them blowing their chances of getting in the playoffs, and I don't really hate them, but it would be funny to somehow help them c**k it up...although I'd prefer Cardiff to sign something guaranteeing they will mess up the actual playoff games too.
O'Neil may rest one or two but he's got an eye on next season already and has said he sees these games as part of our preseason preparation. Forest are on a bad run and are there for the taking and having beaten Brentford I think O'Neill will be looking to get the team believing they should be the ones up there next season. Winning is a habit.
I agree. Clucas and Powell shouldn't play. They've both been carrying knocks so absolutely crackers to risk a long term injury
He’s already said that he won’t be changing the team much in a post match interview so I wouldn’t expect hardly any changes mesen

It is important to try and end the season on a high to promote a good atmosphere and do everything possible to convince potential signings and some of our expensive loaned players that the club is on the up and going places.

I'd love to smash Forest out of the play-offs. They rested five players against Charlton because they were playing West Brom in the next game. They lost that Charlton game, meaning that we went fourth bottom. I remember thinking then, that I hoped they needed something in that last game of the season

To be fair to Lumley I dont think it matters too much which of our keepers is in goal ,our open tactics and not so good defence almost guarantees a -2 handicap. Question is do we have a +2 attack as we often had last season?
Forest will be pushing for play offs again this season,certainly a top half team .
I'd like to predict we will win at home to them on saturday but if you offered me a point now I'd happily take it .

12 teams finished above us (if you include the relegated sides). Most of those have not depleted their squads the way QPR have done. Of those that finished below many have strengthened not weakened. Perhaps you should take that into account.
At this rate QPR are without doubt a bottom 8 side. I doubt that can be dressed up with any credibility. Unless of course Thomas is a wonder kid that somehow Leicester did not notice, Dickie is another top defender in the making and Dykes will smash up this league like Mitrovic or Watkins.

The loss of Eze is my biggest concern , he is irreplaceable, made us tick .

Town’s first Championship away match of the season, was the first game at Brentford’s new stadium, on Saturday, 19 September. The 3-0 reverse was the third loss in the three competitive games we have played thus far. There can be no complaints about the score-line. Indeed, we should have been 2-0 down at the break, rather than going in goalless. Despite 57% possession, the closest we came to scoring was when Jaden Brown's header clipped the post with the score at 1-0. If we aspire to safety the total lack of a goal scoring threat has to be fixed, and rapidly. Either Karlan Grant must be shipped out, promptly, and replaced or he should return to the team.
On Friday, 25 September, K.O. 19:45 we continue our Championship campaign, this time at home to Nottingham Forest. This game will be live on Sky Sports so it will not be purchasable on iFollow but will be available to Season Card holders who have renewed for 2020-21.
We meet the East Midlands outfit frequently, and since 2012, we have played the Tricky Trees at home seven times with a 3-2-2 record in all competitions, wining on our last two home encounters and unbeaten in the last four. We last played them in Huddersfield, on 21 December 2019, when we won 2-1 in the Championship with goals, either side of half-time by Chris Schindler and Steve Mounié. Hopefully Eigting can give us some much needed quality and creativity in midfield instead of the misfiring Pritchard, hopefully O'Brien will be back to add some steel too. I still think Forest will win though.
Thankfully they are going just as bad. No wins or goals this year. Last 8, 6 losses 5 of those to nil and three draws. They are struggling to find the back of the net too.

Be surprised if eiting is thrown straight in given his injury history think will need time to adjust to training intensity although very aware we need someone who realises you can turn round and go forward in that position.
Would have said the same for sarr also and maybe still the case with chrichlow or Edmonds green getting there nod if Edmonds green be now fully up to speed after injury(think that’s the only reason chrichlow made the bench in front of him)possibly bench for sarr even if Schindler out which been hamstring injury probably will be.

I dont get how any team can be as terrible attacking. Our one corner of the half ended up back with our goalkeeper and the one decent sprint into their box also ended up back with our goalkeeper.

I made exactly that comment after the game. I was nervous when I saw Forest had signed him this week - he's one of those players who invariably has a good game against us and winds opposition players and fans up.
