RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - toddy - 17-01-2026 woan big on tactics !! ? thats going well RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - JohnG - 17-01-2026 (16-01-2026, 02:56 PM)DeesideRed Wrote: I think true reflection needs to be taken when the season has finished. Walked into a car crash and gave everybody including the crowd a lift, results followed and as someone said he's a MGW penalty away from being top 8 in Europa. Our main problem is we don't have a goal scorer available RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - DeesideRed - 17-01-2026 (17-01-2026, 10:53 PM)JohnG Wrote:(16-01-2026, 02:56 PM)DeesideRed Wrote: I think true reflection needs to be taken when the season has finished. I agree in a way but disagree in another way. In my opinion our Striker is too isolated and feeding off scraps. How many chances was Jesus presented with yesterday? A goal scorer can only score if he is given chances to score. RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - tugger2018 - 18-01-2026 I agree sniffer and I would not swap Igor Jesus for gykores at Arsenal RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - Salvatore Matrecano - 18-01-2026 (18-01-2026, 10:00 AM)tugger2018 Wrote: I agree sniffer and I would not swap Igor Jesus for gykores at Arsenal Thought Taiwo looked more effective that Gyokeres yesterday let alone Igor. RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 18-01-2026 An interesting part of a scouting report on Ndoye from a few years ago: Shooting Of the 8 goals he has scored 3 left footed, 4 right footed, 1 header. 2 from left channel, 3 from right channel, 3 central. 1 within 6 yard box, 2 from outside penalty area, 5 within penalty area. He likes to shoot from distance when in wide positions, for his national team as a striker he is more disciplined with shooting locations with more chances in central areas closer to goal. He is an excellent long-range shooter though with powerful shots towards the corners. Worth a try. Who knows, our recruitment team may have already found that new striker and he’s been here since the summer RE: Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - Trailer Park Tom - 18-01-2026 I accept that we aren't creating a lot of chances right now but Jesus is our weak link at the moment. He isn't a premier league striker and if he played for any other club in the world other than Botafogo we would have had zero interest in signing him. He isn’t our weak link but he isn’t a natural predatory CF and in my opinion needs someone alongside him. Accept he does look very isolated how we currently set up and he isn’t physical enough to do it by himself. I think that is a bit unfair Tom but we all have our own opinions. Jesus was excellent in the club world cup for Botofogo in the summer. I watched a couple of their games to see him. People have probably forgotten that he played in that summer tournament. The lad is probably absolutely shattered. |
