RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-04-2024 Just have a listen to Nunos interview today to see just how tough things have been. I think it gets underestimated. He was very honest too and not only blaming refs and VAR etc. I like this man a lot. I would sooner a manager who was not personally likeable but got results. Truth is he is out of his depth RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - nffc93 - 26-04-2024 (26-04-2024, 03:27 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: Just have a listen to Nunos interview today to see just how tough things have been. I've not personally seen his pre match but can guess what he's talking about. Siege mentality, Nuno. Not bothered about the injustices. The Prem want us gone so it's down to you to fire that team up. You've got 4 games to save us. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Salvatore Matrecano - 26-04-2024 Nuno: “Since the beginning trying to ignore the noise, trying to focus on our tasks, but these things keep happening and it disturbs the preparations, its disturbs the mentality, the focus…” He is correct Its Not just bad referee decisions. PSR breach and deductions Unnecessary appeal of said deduction Season ticket prices Inflammatory social media posts Forest are in the media for so many off the pitch reasons and there is constant scrutiny much of which is self inflicted. As he says none of this helps our focus on doing the one thing that is important, winning a football match. The smaller teams not getting decisions has been a thing since football was invented. He needs to get on with it and earn his corn. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Trailer Park Tom - 26-04-2024 Nuno is absolutely not out of his depth it's just a shit job with a fractured club and loads of politics going off. He wouldn't have took it if he had known. So with his previous record of managing in the PL can you please explain how Nuno is out of his depth? Lost five out of his last 7 league games at Spurs who had qualified for a european cup final not long before he was appointed. 4 league victories for Forest and now had more than half a season in charge. Granted he had a decent record at Wolves but results occurred quite a few years ago. His methods seem to have got found out and overtaken. The results have been terrible and now just four games left to save us from relegation, including the juggenaut, Man City, tomorrow. I am strting to believe what some are saying to me via PM and that is that you are on a wind up. I think your post above confirms it. So let us look at the facts a bit more carefully. Are you seriously suggesting that a man who took Wolves straight up from the Championship and then achieved two consecutive top seven finishes (2020 so not long ago at all) in the league that we are currently in and also took Wolves to the quarter final of a European competition is out of his depth? There are good reasons why things are so tough right now and why the team and Nuno are struggling a bit but the manager being out of his depth is not one of them. Try to think beyond the obvious because it is not so black and white like you try to make out. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Marinakis Red - 27-04-2024 That guy is on the wind up Sniff. You know what to do. Nuno has had the worst hand a manager has had since Dougie. We couldn't even really help Nuno in the winter window with the PSR stuff. The only thing I'd point out in regard to Nuno that does concern me is the lack of fight that seems to be on display publically heading in to the last 4 but to balance that he has always been this way with the press. |
