Thought they would have gone for someone better than him. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-11-2022 That would be a shock to be honest, he has done a decent job at Luton but people say Cooper isnt proven at a high level, thats a real baptism of fire. He had a shocking time at Stoke too I remember before he went crawling back to Luton. I wouldn’t blame him for Stoke, they were in a right shambles when he took them on. Loads of past it PL players with big wages and bigger egos who thought they were better than they were. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 07-11-2022 Liverpool have been put up for sale by their American owners Fenway Sports Group. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 10-11-2022 Nathan Jones now confirmed at Southampton. Nothing against them as a club, but can't stand him and if they go down that's one place taken. If ever there's an appointment that appears to be preparing for the championship RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Paplane - 10-11-2022 I wonder if they actually realise what they've appointed. They dont seem like an anti-football club. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - wassy04 - 10-11-2022 (10-11-2022, 12:24 PM)Paplane Wrote: I wonder if they actually realise what they've appointed. They dont seem like an anti-football club. Yeah it actually goes really against their general philosophy which makes it all the more surprising. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Salvatore Matrecano - 10-11-2022 Its a very odd one that. I admire Jones what he has done but he is about grinding the results out, the opposite of how Southampton have been set up in recent years. Their fans may stay on board if he gets a few points. Lose playing like he does and they will turn very quickly. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 10-11-2022 Chris Cohen joining Jones at Southampton. |
