Sadly it's not a realistic suggestion because our fans are as stubborn as these Greeks, but if you want to see us with a genuine, all out push to go up this year (and that's the only thing what the owners will be happy with) give Davies his 3rd stint on a 6 month contract. He took the side inherited from Mcliesh from 13th to 1 win off the playoffs on the last day only signing loans & freebies like Darius Henderson, and he had less time & a poorer squad too. If anyone can get us to at least the playoffs this season he can.
In the meantime the owners can look around for a longer term manager, and actually do the homework the dolts should have regards what the club can/can't afford to do in terms of investment. They'll have months to plan what happens, and if we do go up they can appoint a Prem manager too.
if he had been involved in the game in media or coaching or scouting, maybe he has kept himself involved?
I picture Billy watching consipiracy theories all day as well as endless documentaries about David Koresh and playing Led Zeppellin albums backwards
having said that AK allegedly got a regular gig at a comedy club franchise near Barcelona during his sabatical

Because, like Freedman, Pearce, Warburton and numerous others, the club is a career killer.
I often read that fact put forward, and all it displays is an ignorence of how bad our club has been run, and how bad it is at backing it's managers and good it is at painting them as the villains instead.
To ignore all the other managers who have failed to get a job since they left just makes me chuckle.

McClaren- went to FC Twenty and we all know where he is now
Cotterill- went to Bristol City
MacLeish- went to Genk and is now national team manager somewhere...
Pearce- went to Portsmouth then onto West Ham as assistant.
Freedman- is the sporting director at West Ham
You forgot about Montanier- managed France under 20s and now head coach of Lens.
Warburton- ok you got me there...
So hardly a career killer, it's just that Billy is unemployable,if he wasn't then he would be in a job and clubs without a manager would be turning to him instead of better alternatives.

Warburton hasn't been employed yet but he was in the running for the FA Technical Director role which was ultimately given to Les Reed.
I can't believe some fans are still pining for Billy Davies after his last stint. As numerous others have said, the fact he's not had another job since leaving here says it all. Yeah, he can get a team playing well, but he's absolutely toxic.
