RE: Are We Going Down? - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-10-2025 He has been Dog shite all season. This is going to sound controversial but I would get him gone in January. Then watch us go... Look how well we've done trying to replace Elanga. RE: Are We Going Down? - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-10-2025 (27-10-2025, 01:37 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: He has been Dog shite all season. RE: Are We Going Down? - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-10-2025 I totally get why you find him frustrating but I sense a general pile on making him the scapegoat for all that’s gone wrong this season. He isn’t performing but neither are plenty of others and all the off the pitch stuff that’s happened isn’t his fault either RE: Are We Going Down? - Chicago - 27-10-2025 No-one is getting into position to score at the moment. Hindsight is always 20/20 but to play a team like Bournuff you need to bully them. They bullied us. Sean tried to be pragmatic and play the same team but really we should have tried the high press with yatesy and Dom and create chances that way like they did against us. I would have played Murillo as a holding midfielder and put Jair in the back with the Serbinator. Yes i would have done that. Would it have been a disaster? not sure it would have been but extra physicality and beat them up a bit and then bring on the creative players. Taiwo was much more effective than Jesus but we left our centre forwards so isolated it was silly. Savona had a good game but have to be careful because Anderson and neco are going to break. What worried me was that there was no sense of urgency and the muff were in second to fourth gear in the second half. Need to play our guts out by using the squad. The lack of goals is scary. We need to pressure backlines and get lucky chances at the moment. This is how bad it is at the moment. And for the love of god we need someone who can take a kick other than Douglas Luiz who seems to be the only one who can. Murillo can but obviously we need him in the middle. Going to be a long slog. And also shooting practice. We don't shoot at all. Chicago: Offering solutions.. It's say his actions in the summer contributed in some part to our current demise. RE: Are We Going Down? - ozzyten10 - 27-10-2025 I think he was right- he wanted physical players with pace- everyone laughing at traore but we need that type RE: Are We Going Down? - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-10-2025 (27-10-2025, 03:24 PM)Paplane Wrote:(27-10-2025, 03:09 PM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: I totally get why you find him frustrating but I sense a general pile on making him the scapegoat for all that’s gone wrong this season. To say that it had the slightest impact on the Nuno/Edu situation or any hierarchy/ management decisions is plain wrong. Should also be said he has 2 young kids in his house now, others in the squad have too but wonder if his family life also impacting his play. RE: Are We Going Down? - Chicago - 27-10-2025 People are referring to the Spuds saga. I think what f****d us in the summer was the Elanga sale. I still don't understand it. Anyway, the only two newbies who seem to be contributing to the team are Luiz and Savona. I thought the Italian did well considering he was up against Semenyo... But again, going forward we are totally anemic. Chicago: Focusing on the future. |
