RE: League Cup 2022/23 - Mcforest - 21-12-2022 There is always one surprise in this round of who goes through so we need to work extra hard to make sure we are not the knockout shock. Im sure Blackburn will be considering we're very beatable tonight. They might say we're only 4 or 5 places above them. This is a really difficult game for us. RE: League Cup 2022/23 - Fumanchew - 22-12-2022 Do we get the luck of the draw for an easy-ish way to the semis? That would do very nicely. RE: League Cup 2022/23 - Mcforest - 22-12-2022 Here is a question would you rather stay in the premiership and bit a mid table team or win the league cup/fa cup and be relegated. Its not even a question mate. You have to stay in the PL for the long term future of the club. The choice is winning something and the day after losing all your best players and the inevitable time it takes to rebuild. RE: League Cup 2022/23 - Mcforest - 22-12-2022 But do you want to become a spurs who are a premiership team but are lost to the history books as a nobody. The brum have a more appealing history than them. I think that is a difficult question, Wembley was pretty amazing last year. I would've definitely said trophy before this year. I'd say FA Cup > Staying up > League Cup. Can we just have all three? Premier League all day long. Agreed. Stay in the PL at all costs it's a no brainer. RE: League Cup 2022/23 - optimistic_red - 22-12-2022 Winning at Wembley is fun |
