I suppose it depends what was written in the contracts.

New team running the show, they can just blame the old guy (Levy), book a paper profit and move on, such is the corporate world!

I really do blame his dad for turning his head to Spuds. He was playing his best when he was with us.

Agree but he's sorted for life now though with his bank balance. That will have been his Dad's primary motivation.
But football wise, yes, I bet he was still with us.
