I think any keeper we will be targeting they will want as a number one and Sels to be number 2. So may have big investment to get their main target

We definitely need to look at signing a long term number 1.

Obviously not sure how they work it out but transfermarkt value samba at €15m surely with Dane not being here anymore the negotiations might be with militiadis or even EM as I way to show how serious we value him

Proof will be in the pudding of course but I have a very strong feeling that Miguel is going to be a proper cult hero at the CG.

According to whoever’s worked it out we have an xGA of 3.5 which means Sels should have saved half of one of the goals he’s conceded so far, so for what it’s worth he’s doing as well as he should be so far

When the goalkeeper positions his wall then he needs to trust it. Sels didn't trust it and he paid the price. That is poor goalkeeping in my eyes.

The worry is if we drop Sels and Miguel is no better, then we could be in a worse position. It is hard to go back to Sels.
Just like last year with Turner and Vlachodimos.

It’s gotta be something major before we make the change.
Currently only Liverpool and Arsenal have conceded less then us, it’s only us and Brighton that’s joint on 4 goals against
This probably more about the back 5 as a whole and team defending then just sels
Unfortunately (kind of) there’s 10 teams that have scored more then us but that’s for another thread
