Back on track. Sow is out again tonight. He really is a complete waste of time.

Yep he is. He looks like a walking red card of late. I don't know what's changed in his game or his head but he's a liability imo. The trouble is, when he's good, he's unplayable.

I have a theory that now he's been around a year or so, the ref's are ready for him and not prepared to tolerate his physical approach and verbals. You can't continue to keep fouling and then having a go at the ref. That can't be helping his game.

Nice to hear CH say that we are close to having a fully fit squad.

Didn’t notice any comment on Fred? I’m hoping he could be the positive spark we’ve missed- busy, industrious and positive

Perhaps Colback picking up an injury might be a positive and give Mr Hughton cause to look at Cafu and Bachirou

RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Salvatore Matrecano - 29-11-2020

Let me get this right, you are pinning your hopes on a 30 year old who spent 4 years at Greencock Morton and a portuguese lad who’s only ever really contributed in 1 season in on loan in Poland.

Desperate times SM.

I’d like to see them given a chance personally.

We know what we get from Colback, Arter and Yates.

I though Bachirou was very good against Barnsley in the Cup.

Out of all of the areas on the pitch I think we’re way below par in the centre of the park. They aren’t protecting the defense, they aren’t supporting Taylor offensively.

I genuinely couldn’t believe the throw in issue today. Absolute schoolboy stuff.

Swansea touched the ball twelve times from the throw in until McKenna’s flick on for their goal, largely unchallenged.

What would you do? Persist with Colback and Yates?

RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Salvatore Matrecano - 29-11-2020

I was one of the very few who didnt think Colback was a good signing, never really thought he was any good when he was on loan here a few seasons back but apparently it was fashionable then to say he was excellent but Watson, his partner at the time, was a disgrace and should never play again.
Hugely disappointed in Arter too, I was fooled into thinking he could be the No. 8 we were looking for but I think I was wrong.
Sow and Yates together? Clutching at straws arent I?

Sow would be starting if he could ever get fit. Colback and Yates obviously not the answer. Would also like to see Fred or Cafu just to see what we've got. Although I guess if they're not doing it in training then not much point.

Maybe just need to change tactics, could play 3 at the back to avoid having to play CMs

Can you see CH making such a change this early in his tenure?

It suggests that he doesn’t believe in his own methodology.

If the players suit that type of setup then CH was probably the wrong appointment in the first place

I didn’t want Colback, I think he’s a decent player but won’t be the type of player to push us on as a team. I also didn’t want Arter. I dread to think the wages tied up in those two.

Sow and Yates whilst would be good physically neither of them have the guile to make us a better team technically.

Plus Sow is made of biscuits. We can’t build a Team around him.

No I expect we'll see the same team again for the next game. To be fair whoever we appointed would be stuck with the same issue
