RE: Next Few Games - Username - 10-03-2025 Also Newcastle aren’t playing. RE: Next Few Games - wassy04 - 10-03-2025 Final 10 games, on the one hand mainly bottom half teams but aside from Leicester I don't see many rock solid wins on the schedule. Suspect there'll be a lot of tight, tense games. Ipswich (a) - win Man Utd (h) - draw Villa (a) - loss Everton (h) - draw Spurs (a) - loss Brentford (h) - win Palace (a) - draw Leicester (h) - win West Ham (a) - draw Chelsea (h) - draw 3 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses. Tried to be negative, feels close to realistic worst case scenario. 65 points, would that be enough? RE: Next Few Games - ozzyten10 - 11-03-2025 Could with 5 wins here…. RE: Next Few Games - wassy04 - 15-03-2025 After the international break we have 3 games in a week. FA Cup QF, Man Utd home, Villa away. 2 wins and we're either going to Wembley or top 4 is looking pretty very strong. What a defining week that'll be, how exciting. RE: Next Few Games - Plymouth red - 15-03-2025 If its any consolation then villa have similar plus champions league a few days after we play them. Will they rotate for us - particularly if they make the semi final of fa cup as well. As for us those three games are really going to stretch our squad. But then the same applies to Brighton who play villa a few days later after the qf. Offers a massive dilemma for nuno. As much as I would love an fa cup win, I don't want us to lose momentum in the league but don't think we can afford to play strongest team 3 times in a week RE: Next Few Games - wassy04 - 15-03-2025 (15-03-2025, 10:55 PM)Plymouth red Wrote: If its any consolation then villa have similar plus champions league a few days after we play them. Look at all the Newcastle fans in London today. Getting to Wembley would be well worth it. RE: Next Few Games - Salvatore Matrecano - 14-09-2025 6 games before next international break, 3 league, 2 europa, 1 league cup League games Burnley away Sunderland home Newcastle away Got to be looking at 6 points from them and something from Europa. Dont care if he plays the under 18s vs Swansea although there are a few in the squad that need some match fitness. RE: Next Few Games - stirred - 14-09-2025 The whole point of the squad depth was to have a go in the cups, not just Europa, as well as the league surely. And you need them to give regular minutes across the larger squad else people will become restless. RE: Next Few Games - Username - 14-09-2025 I’ll be annoyed if I travel all the way to Swansea and we don’t give it a proper go. We definitely will be doing, Luiz is starting, probably Bakwa, Hutch etc, will be a strong side. RE: Next Few Games - Trailer Park Tom - 14-09-2025 Burnley looking like a tough game. |
