RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Portchester Tricky - 18-08-2021 Apparently he switched to a 3 5 2 to suit the players he had. Very flexible with formations. I won't mention his name, but I think I know who he is. Sounds like the antithesis of what we have. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 18-08-2021 It's not him I was referring too. Plan A is for incumbent manager to get playoffs, plan B is for them to get sacked and to be replaced by someone else that will inevitably fail to achieve Plan A RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Portchester Tricky - 18-08-2021 Sorry Sniff. I thought I had nailed that. According to Warburton Plan B was to do Plan A better. But that wasnt good enough for Forest fans either and because he tried to play the passing game we are now demanding he was labelled as playing “tippy tappy shit” so we sacked him and he went to a club which he is starting to turn around nicely. You can forget Howe. He was very interested in the Job at Celtic but they would not stump up for the entourage he wanted to bring with him; he will be far too rich for our taste RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - wassy04 - 18-08-2021 (18-08-2021, 11:54 AM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote:(18-08-2021, 11:31 AM)wassy04 Wrote:(18-08-2021, 10:06 AM)Alf Wrote: Whether it's now or in 10 years, whoever we employ I hope to never hear the term "no plan B" again. I think most people wanted him to tighten up the defence, play it longer, maybe some more DMs... :D RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - northeastred - 18-08-2021 Sasa Pinter maybe? If murphy likes to raid the bundesligas for attacking gengenpressing young type, just a wild guess.. does sound intriguing tho sniffer.. does that mean we're talking to replacements? RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 18-08-2021 No it doesn't mean that. I think we are all getting ahead of ourselves. If we land a relatively attacking manager with a plan A which takes us higher in the league, I'm more than happy to give that a season or two to bare fruit. In Warbs I think we had that, and that giving him the 3 years which we've wasted chasing our tails would have seen us in a better position now tbh. But here we are, so forward we move. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - PsychoStooge - 18-08-2021 Can we start talking about this now? Absolute dross. Hmm not that many realistic targets is there …. Wilder Lampard / Morris More likely to be an unknown foreign coach I guess, if we’re following the Barnsley model |
