I think you're right, it seemed like Samba was done before Horvath was unavailable for internationals. No denying he had a strong finish to the season to alleviate some doubts. I do think Samba is actually more suited to the PL as the other teams will have lots of chances and shot stopping is his strength. RE: Brice Samba - Redgirl - 16-06-2022 I wonder if Samba is a little worried about being in the PL. I think he’s great and would be gutted if he goes, he does seem to have a fragile ego though. I know it’s crazy as he does appear very confident but who knows what’s going on inside someone’s head. I just can’t see why a player would want to leave when to play in the premier is the pinnacle of most footballers careers RE: Brice Samba - Tricky - 16-06-2022 (16-06-2022, 08:39 AM)Username Wrote: …and we would still be in the Championship and you know this how exactly? RE: Brice Samba - Username - 16-06-2022 As an aside did anyone see the goal Horvath conceded for the USA? So so easy to argue with hindsight isn't it? The bottom line is, we will never know! In fact, why are we still discussing this even? Let Huddersfields dog fiddlers and the blunts keep carping on about the play offs, we've got a visit to Newcastle to look forward to! RE: Brice Samba - Sausage Roll - 16-06-2022 Indeed. And I'm pretty sure Henderson will be an upgrade on both of them. RE: Brice Samba - Paplane - 16-06-2022 I reckon Henderson is pretty much the highest calibre of keeper we could have attracted at this point in time. Regardless of your feelings towards Samba, its an excellent signing. Every newly promoted team needs a decent keeper or they're shipping goals left right and centre. You'd say him behind our back 3 is a decent foundation from which to build. RE: Brice Samba - Mcforest - 16-06-2022 I would be shocked if Newcastle didn't come in and try to steal this transfer. Been on their wishlist for a while. So as exciting as it is i'm not holding my breath.
