RE: Dyche In/Out - ToryTom - 09-02-2026 What a bloody mess we are in. Damned if we do and damned if we don’t. A decision either way needs making smartish. I don’t think Dyche will keep us up but equally I do not know who else is available who will keep us up. I suppose we are reaching a point where we will have nothing to lose by a least trying somebody else. Wednesday game is vital. Do not win that and I think the owner will have to act. RE: Dyche In/Out - Marinakis Red - 09-02-2026 I agree if we lose at home to Wolves it will be curtains for Dyche. RE: Dyche In/Out - JollyLollyAussie - 09-02-2026 Get the deed done now if that is what is going to happen. I would put Woody in charge for the rest of the season along with Reidy as he wont play again this season he can at least be earing his wage packet! Maybe Clarke as a mentor or Pearce to kick some ass? Maybe Clarke as a mentor or Pearce to kick some ass? Chris Wood alongside Reidy is your answer? Wow, I mean I know people don’t like Dyche or are concerned that Dyche is going to take us down but really?? RE: Dyche In/Out - JollyLollyAussie - 09-02-2026 Well Mr Bowyer most seem to want him gone on this forum but have not put forward any name who may replace Dyche, I dont get the obsession with Silva either but that wont happen. If you want him sacked you better start thinking about alternatives, that was my starter for 10 as a stop gap. RE: Dyche In/Out - Salvatore Matrecano - 09-02-2026 Yeah great idea. Its only about £200m we stand to lose with the wrong decision. Option 1. A bloke who isnt popular with everyone, plays pragmatic football but has a good reputation for getting teams out of the shit. Option 2. Lets try someone who has never worked in management before and see if they can cut it in the toughest league in the world. Perhaps ask the Dyche outters though Jolly. As for me I am on the fence but only because it is difficult to know what would be best. It’s not like with Ange where it was clear he needed to go. With Dyche, nope I don’t like his style of play or tactics and there have been poor performances but he is getting us points. So do we stick or twist? What we don’t do personally is sack him and put someone in charge who has never managed before surely? I think when it reaches the point where literally anyone would be better is the time for him to go. Not sure we're there yet although not beating Wolves would surely suggest that. Teams that have four managers in one season don't tend to have much success though...(although neither do teams with 3 either) RE: Dyche In/Out - JollyLollyAussie - 09-02-2026 Spot on Wassy regards the number of managers in a season, but we are very much at the point of stick or twist, is that Wednesday? I think it is. Should that be the case what next? As fans I think the majority were all up for a progressive season, in reality its been a very slow and steady regression. RE: Dyche In/Out - Jimmygordon - 09-02-2026 Anyone wouldnt be better than Dyche. Its a foolish thing to say RE: Dyche In/Out - wassy04 - 09-02-2026 (09-02-2026, 07:04 PM)Jimmygordon Wrote: Anyone wouldnt be better than Dyche. Its a foolish thing to say I would tend to agree but if he can't beat this Wolves team at home then it feels like we may as well roll the dice. RE: Dyche In/Out - Madforit - 09-02-2026 If we fail to beat Wolves, then Dyche definitely needs to be shown the door. |
