RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - Mcforest - 05-08-2023 If you don't have the players to play a certain way then you don't play it. Surely that is coaching 101. RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - JollyLolly - 05-08-2023 This pre-season can indeed be described as depressing in terms of the football performances so far, where is the entertainment in watching this shit? All kudos to the 800 plus fans who traveled over to Germany RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - wassy04 - 05-08-2023 (05-08-2023, 03:25 PM)JollyLolly Wrote: This pre-season can indeed be described as depressing in terms of the football performances so far, where is the entertainment in watching this S**t? All kudos to the 800 plus fans who traveled over to Germany Pre season is meant to be about fitness not entertainment. RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - stefanduma - 05-08-2023 Great game 0-0 could have been worse. A chance to see Arsenal tomorrow, that should be interesting. RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - Floridared - 05-08-2023 Can't say much more than what's already been said. Shelvey looks better than Horvath is the only positive. Midfield players are really good at poor quality passing. Aurier first touch is crap, the ball bounces off him into space with Frankfurt picking up the loose ball. Is Johnson playing? Ive seen all pre season games and I'm hoping there are 3 worse teams than us in the premier league but I don't know who they are. We have tried pressing a few times and they have easily played out of it. When we try to play from the back their press frightens the life out of us. Where are we going from here? RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 05-08-2023 I think we have done okay so far, a solid away performance. Eintracht are one of Germany's top teams and we are not just going to turn up and rip them a new arse hole. RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - JollyLolly - 05-08-2023 Wassy I was referencing football generally from a spectators point of view and not this particular game RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - audiosmee - 05-08-2023 (05-08-2023, 03:24 PM)wassy04 Wrote:(05-08-2023, 03:21 PM)audiosmee Wrote: So deep and with 3 CB and 2 FB. There is such a huge amount of space between The back and the front. We need to play 4 at the back and allow a 6 and 2 8s Unfortunately I remember, the onus has got to be on the 3 CB managing the space and being willing to bring the ball forward and break the lines- otherwise the midfield are overrun RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - wassy04 - 05-08-2023 (05-08-2023, 03:29 PM)JollyLolly Wrote: Wassy I was referencing football generally from a spectators point of view and not this particular game No-one is forcing you to watch RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - wassy04 - 05-08-2023 (05-08-2023, 03:30 PM)audiosmee Wrote:(05-08-2023, 03:24 PM)wassy04 Wrote:(05-08-2023, 03:21 PM)audiosmee Wrote: So deep and with 3 CB and 2 FB. I guess that's why we've had a flurry of bids go in. I liked it last year when Aurier was there, gave us a bit more attacking threat. RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - JollyLolly - 05-08-2023 Wassy 50 years of being a Forest fan, cant help it !!!! RE: Pre-Season Friendlies 2023/24 - JollyLolly - 05-08-2023 Much better start to the 2nd half more forward intent |
