I maintain that trip to Dubai did us no good and we have seen no benefits from it since returning. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Fumanchew - 01-03-2025 Bournemouth have only made 3 changes to their last prem starting 11 were nearly 2-0 before it was chalked off and out now drawing with it looking like extra time RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Reds73 - 01-03-2025 (01-03-2025, 03:23 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote:(01-03-2025, 02:58 PM)Reds73 Wrote:(01-03-2025, 10:59 AM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: We weren't properly prepared for Exeter. They flew down the day before.i RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Sausage Roll - 01-03-2025 Villa, Palace, Preston and Bournemouth through so far. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 01-03-2025 I wouldn't be too surprised if Danilo played in a more advanced roll and MGW was rested. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 02-03-2025 I personally have no problem with Nuno making 5 or 6 changes. All the players who play will be from our named PL squad. They are all PL players. I don't see it as a A team and B team. They are all PL players who have all helped to get us where we are right now which is third in the PL. Also the Exeter game needs to be cavaeted by the state of the pitch. It was impossible to play incisive football on that. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Trailer Park Tom - 02-03-2025 Forest Focus have done an interesting pre Ipswich with 3 very different predicted lineups. I'm still sticking with a partial rotation of 4 or so changes with the idea of giving them a chance to play at a higher level and thrive with better players on the pitch around them. Yeah but it's not about the quality of the players. It's a combination of match fitness, which the guys who aren't starting every week won't have. Plus the cohesion that is learned through playing together regularly. There's so much evidence that once you make more than 3 or so changes the performance drops off. Literally all the teams have done it so far and all played poorly. Just so happened that City and Villa had easy home games. Bournemouth were lucky not to go out. I would welcome 4 or 5 changes perhaps even 6. Like Nuno said they are all first team players there is no A team and B team. We saw with Newcastle how things can go tits up with a red card for Gordon and an injury to Isak. |
