RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - Fumanchew - 22-02-2024 We were 15th and they were 5th when we beat them at home. We hadn’t won in 6 and I guess no one expected it, no reason we can’t upset them again RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - JWJW - 23-02-2024 Under Nuno I feel we can win any game. I think we can get a win against Villa. They still lost. Didn't they also need a last minute equaliser to snatch a point at home to Sheffield United too (if we want to go to the other end of the table). RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - The reds - 23-02-2024 We just have to believe we can get something, play with the right mindset and I’m sure we can get something from the game. I remember watching that one. Villa should have won, if not for controversy from VAR and a certain Anthony Taylor as referee... RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - Shawoddyred - 23-02-2024 Villa are rightly favourites, but given their and our style of play, I think we've got a seriously good chance. They rely on a very high line, we rely on breaking fast. There will plenty of offsides but we have the pace and quality on the break to seriously trouble them. We'll need a bit of luck here and here and good defensive display. RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 23-02-2024 If Cash is fit, it will be an interesting battle between him and Elanga for pace down our left side. That will be an explosive area of the pitch in terms of pace and power and one I am looking forwards to seeing. It will be CHO and Tavares vs Cash and Bailey. Great match up all the same. Elanga and Williams vs Ramsey and Moreno on the opposite side. Great match ups. RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 23-02-2024 How's Cashy been doing for Villa lately? I've lost touch with his career now. He's been on the bench with konsa playing ahead of him, he's apparently one they want to move out in the summer according to my villa mate. RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 23-02-2024 Would far prefer Cash to taking up an option on Montiel. Affordability will be the issue though, as well of course depending what league we are in. |
