Well it looks like we will play with a double pivot using both sang and dañilo to get the ball from the defence. Very attacking look to it. The thing I would be worried about is lack of heading ability when defending corners. Let's see what we can do.

I think he is also trying to assess the squad before the January transfer window as well as looking at different combinations. Means some of our players will be more rested than theirs. At least he is trying to score goals and not just keep them out.

Nunos not afraid to play attacking football. I love it. Least he's not afraid to go for it. Long may it continue

Another attacking looking line up! Here's hoping we have more energy than the toon due to their European exploits!

To be fair Sangare gets to play his favoured position as a 6 for the first time. He needs to step up today big time. Mangala, Williams and toff unlucky but aina was very good at overlapping when he came on and we’ve been losing when mangala has played. Williams better as a wingback. CHO had to start as he, MGW and aina started to play some great football for the short time they were together.

Strikes of a new manager giving everyone a chance. Interesting as a former GK he doesn't seem to rate Ody.

Completely agree

Seriously, if MGW could shoot he'd be bloody dangerous

This is nervy watching our goalkeeper and defenders.

RE: Newcastle United - Nottingham Forest - Mcforest - 26-12-2023

If you can't play it out of defense then just don't do it. Other than that we are ok so far, just causing our own problems.

So sloppy from aina

FFS Aina

Poor so far regardless.
