RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - Fella - 13-09-2022 Like a lot of people are up Johnson’s behind because of 2 goals I guess. As a front line it’s a spluttering mess and hopefully it settles down with some selection and performance consistency soon enough. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - zicorice - 13-09-2022 Apparently Lingard has created more chances than any other Forest player (8). That surprised me initially. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - JWJW - 14-09-2022 Lingard has been playing well. Albeit a bit slow, he has been linking up well. Of course, a lot of people dont want to see that...........for some reason. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - DR Forest - 14-09-2022 I still expect more from Lingard in terms of running, ball carrying and pace. I wanted him to put defenders on their heels, turn them, draw fouls and generally ‘get about them’. That might be unfair but it’s what I was hoping for given his pedigree and what he did for West Ham. If he’s in the team to link play and be a ‘passer’, then surely it’s going to be a straight choice between him and freuler. That’s going to be interesting. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - DeesideRed - 14-09-2022 Surprised to see so many sticking Lingard in their teams tbh. Got nothing against him, just not sure he warrants a place over MGW. I think we're all praying its not the same Johnson MGW Lingard front 3 RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - wassy04 - 14-09-2022 (14-09-2022, 09:41 AM)DeesideRed Wrote: Surprised to see so many sticking Lingard in their teams tbh. I don't think that would change personally if it was Taiwo instead. I think if he were to drop Brennan (which he shouldn't) then MGW and Lingard would play behind Taiwo. I agree think MGW fits the position we're asking for better from what I've seen so far compared to Lingard. I think we're all in agreement that Taiwo has to start every game in this tactics though. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - Sausage Roll - 14-09-2022 Taiwo or Surridge - there needs to be *one* out-and-out forward. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - Sausage Roll - 15-09-2022 Looks like Mangala won't be available for this match, judging by Cooper's press-conference comments. Unless he's pulling a fast one again. RE: Nottingham Forest - Fulham - Sausage Roll - 15-09-2022 Well seemingly no leaked team news today so that’s already an improvement on the last match. I've seen a couple, one of them Colback is starting, which seems crazy to me, so hoping fake news! |
