Despite what I said a few days ago there WILL be prize money for the winner of this seasons Predictions League as well as the runner up.
This is how it will work providing there are enough participants.
1. Prize money will be 150 pounds for the winner and 50 pounds for the runner up.
2. Each participant will pay 20 pounds to enter via the donate button and all proceeds will go towards prize money and towards running costs of the forum. Please state your username in the donation.
3. If there are not enough participants then all donations will be refunded.
4. Full time scores only, no half time scores or golden goals except the last match (see point number 7 below) .
5. 5 points awarded for each correct score and the table will be updated the following day after every match.
6. Only Premier League games, no Cup games.
7. If two or more participants have the same points after the last match, the winner will be decided by golden goal. In other words the golden goal will be used only for the last match if necessary. Then the participant who is closest to the first goal time will be the winner.
8. The deadline for participants is 12.00 midday (UK time) Saturday 6th August.
9. All scores must be submitted before kick off time. Any scores submitted after kick off time will be invalid.
Feel free to post in the thread and to let others know if you are going to take part.
Good luck to all participants!
Come on we need more player's please.
You don't need to be a regular poster to take part it is open for everyone.
Eventually I would like to have 2 or 3 groups (2 or 3 leagues) with promotion and relegation with prize money for the over all winner and for the promoted participants, that is the plan.
At the moment we barely have enough participants for a single league.
Like I said it's open for everyone whether you are a poster or not, it's a chance to get involved, use your prediction skills to try and win prize money and at the same time to show your support for the forum.
That would be awesome Sniffer.
Count me in pal.

Quick rule check.
If I predict a 0-1 win and we win 0-2, is that 0 pts?

Yep. The predictions League has been simplified this year.
FT score only and 5 points for the correct score and 0 points for everything else that is not the correct score.
