Sounds as if there was no way that Lingard was leaving from Greece until he had agreed to sign that contrct! RE: J Lingz - BestwoodRed - 24-07-2022 Anyone else a little concerned that we haven’t seen any quotes from Steve Cooper? Every other signing has had the approval of the manager as part of the official statement. RE: J Lingz - Sausage Roll - 24-07-2022 Not really. If we've were chasing him from as soon as we got promoted I don't see any way they'd have done it without his approval. RE: J Lingz - ozzyten10 - 25-07-2022 He is genuinely a top lad. Reliably informed that already had a positive impact and isn’t a me me me guy… The time he took today with the young kids on site was brilliant I am told… RE: J Lingz - Sausage Roll - 25-07-2022 (25-07-2022, 09:27 PM)ozzyten10 Wrote: He is genuinely a top lad. RE: J Lingz - Sausage Roll - 26-07-2022 I loved what Worrall said in his interview on Sky Sports about Lingard: "Signing players like Jesse Lingard should be the norm for Nottingham Forest." Damn right. RE: J Lingz - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-09-2022 Fewer touches of the ball than Dean Henderson yesterday and when he had the ball he did nothing with it before being hauled off the pitch by Cooper. I am not impressed so far. I am not impressed so far. Absolutely. He is a shadow of the player he was at West ham - I reckon, I have more chance of making the England team at the moment. I am not impressed so far. He just seems to be a luxury player right now. I don't think we can be starting him unless we change tactics. It's just leaving such a gaping hole in CM. Also, did anyone notice his half arsed tackle just before they scored? RE: J Lingz - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-09-2022 Yes I think Cooper had seen enough at that point and not long after he hauled him off. RE: J Lingz - DR Forest - 04-09-2022 I raised concerns before but was told I was wrong by several others on here. He was then dropped at Man City and yesterday was yesterday. I hope I’m wrong but it doesn’t look good and Cooper can’t afford to be patient. |
