The message is loud and clear from the Nottingham Forest fands after Brian Clough was linked with a move away from the City Ground in the early 1980's.

Peter Taylor and Brian Clough, Coventry City v Nottingham Forest at Highfield Road in 1978.

The game ended 0-0 and a point was enough for Nottingham Forest to take the title and become the Champions of England.

The gaffer's final home match. May 1993, a 2-0 defeat confirmed relegation. A sad end to 18 amazing years.

Thank you Brian.

A lovely photo of Brian who sadly by the time of his last home match against Sheffield United had become a shadow of his former self.

It was a really sad day that was ^.

Certainly the saddest experience I have ever witnessed at a football match (except Hillsborough).

I had tears in my eyes at the final whistle.

Its a Day late but we must post this:
5/11/2008, It's ten years since the brilliant bronze statue of Brian Clough was unveiled by Mrs. Clough, in front of more than 5,000 people in Nottm city centre.
Thanks to all who helped and contributed, it's become a much-loved part of the city landscape.

Celebrities often used to pop into the dressing room after a match.

At Watford when Elton John was chairman he would always pop in.

After one particular game Clough had gone to have a bath and was all lathered and oiled up when Elton came in.

Ronnie Fenton (Clough's assistant) shouted to Cloughie that Elton was here and wanted to say hello and Cloughie bellowed back 'tell the big fat poof I'll be out in a couple of minutes'.

All the players were rolling around the floor laughing and to be fair Elton saw the funny side also.

Classic Brian  :D
