Boner alert

Definitely refreshing!

So happy we have a progressive young coach. I respected Hughton for his past record and all of our managers have had my backing. Cooper seems very different though.
I’m looking at cardiff and Middlesbrough today and I’m glad we went for young and progressive over experience this time around!
I hope when on a down turn in form we can stick together- for me he has credit in the bank now…

Watching Cooper in his latest interview, he seems only focussed on Fulham, however amazing the last month or 2 has been, he seems to not want to talk much about anything, certainly not into revelling in it, at this stage facing the next game, however good or exhilerating it was at the time, it probably fits with his pre match preparation, though to be fair i didn't hear him say this but he didn't seem to be wanting the 'how good am/was i' conversation, actually he looked knackered out, no doubt had a tough day sorting everything for Sunday, even so, I like it, he's emotional but extremely well grounded, a win against Fulham is always something good but against the backdrop of 4 wins and 5 wins in 6 it would be stratospheric, it's almost everything, the only thing that matters

I like the fact that Cooper briefly notes the opposition and brings it back to Forest and how 'good' we are.

Positive.

SA.

We now get to see how well Cooper can pick the players up. We really got a thumping today and with a really tricky away game on Friday he'll need to work some magic.

He can start by starting Taylor and leaving Grabban on the bench along with Yates.

Yates- our best player today!

Sorry but I'm going to disagree, too many wasteful passes, reverting back to playing the ball backwards, but then again Colback was just as guilty, our midfield was non existent yesterday.

Our midfield was overran as they had more numbers in there as well as PL quality. Just put in another thread, not convinced 352 was the way to go against a team like Fulham.

RE: Stevie Cooper - Username - 03-11-2021

Really enjoyed listening to Steve’s post-match interview last night, he seems to be really invested in the Club and comes across quite balanced.

I do wonder what position we would be in now had we not made the change. Maybe Disney Plus can release a What If? series!

RE: Stevie Cooper - Salvatore Matrecano - 03-11-2021

Did anyone see when and why why he was booked last night? I thought it was after we scored, so over celebrating? But Tails seemed to suggest it was for complaining about the penalty incident?

Don't think it had anything to do with celebrating. Just after we scored he was arguing something with the 4th official. It could be that one of the Sheff players went down with cramp and Steve was not happy with that kind of time wasting.
