We need a manager with a proven track record of avoiding relegation from the Premier League to help the club gain promotion and some sort of stability. I know it would be a huge ask for a manager to take a step down from the Premier League to the Championship, but that would only be to promote the club back to the Premier League and keep them established/with stability.
I would recommend the following managers:-
Graham Potter
Ralph Hasenhuttl
Sean Dyche
Eddie Howe
Rafael Benitez
Roy Hodgson
Javi Gracia
Brendan Rodgers
Nuno Espirito Santo
Sam Allardyce

Former chairman Maurice Rowarth had a lot to answer for in terms of the club's plight. He was one of the longest serving chairmen in the club's history, who oversaw Clough's success from 1978-1980 and then the barren 6 or 7 year period until Clough won 2 more League Cups in 1989 and 1990 and then Maurice Rowarth finally passing the reins over to Fred Reacher. Other chairmen since have continued the trend of what they started.
Some chairmen are just selfish people out for themselves and don't have the club's best interests at heart and having the sense and ambition to want the best for their own football club. Managers can get made out to be the scapegoats at times, when really the board of directors are responsible for hiring a manager and that manager then does their job to the best of their ability, but the chairmen/board of directors higher up the chain of command are the people the buck stops with.
The high turnover of chairmen and managers has been ridiculous.

We change from a Manager with no tactics and out of date working principles to now a Head Coach who wants to play good football and score goals.

Maybe he will be good, I have no idea.
What I do know for certain is that he will have a few short months to come to a foreign country, learn about the club he has inherited, build a team to suit his style of play, adapt to the Championship and start winning games.
If he doesnt do all that he will be gone and the merry go round will start again.

One thing everyone is forgetting if Marinakis thinks the players are to blame he is not shy of telling them either, he wouldn't let that fool him, just a season ago he bombed the whole Olympiacos squad out, he knows MON wasn't upto it, the player stuff just takes some flak off.
For me he's made the right decision.
