RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Salvatore Matrecano - 17-03-2024

He was Cooper’s choice so I get why Nuno doesn’t necessarily fit with Rusk.

However that’s on the assumption that Nuno thought he could make our set pieces better. On evidence to date, attacking wise the tactic remains for MGW to take corners straight to the first defender and defending wise to do our best Keystone Cops impression whenever a dead ball is lumped in to our area.

Think sometimes there has to be some personal responsibility, Byrne wins that header because Sangare let's him go to the edge of the box alone. He visibly stops tracking him as the ball goes the the edge, whether he thinks because its not his 'zone' I don't care, go put your head on it.

We must have someone else that can take set pieces better than MGW? Neco took them initially when we went up? Murillo and then just sprint back?!

Are some of you lot trying to turn this forum into a laughing stock?

Reading through this thread it feels like I am on Twitter.

The way Murillo attempted to lob their keeper from just outside OUR penalty area, we now have set piece opportunities from within our own half!!!

Not sure where to put this but I'm lost as to why CHO has lost his place. He was really building momentum, scoring goals and building fitness/confidence. He's clearly a better crossed than anyone else (apart from maybe Neco) and a decent finisher from what we've seen. Plus he had maybe his best game for us against Liverpool.

Then we have two massive games and he's dropped?! I just found it baffling. Particularly as Elanga has really dropped off recently. I know people have been defending Origi for his performance too (despite the amount of clear cut chances he's missed) but we had a good thing going with that front four and then it just suddenly got changed unexpectedly.

He might be carrying a knock Wassy. Or he's being punished for not clearing v liverpool.

No way is Nuno punishing CHO.

Yeah maybe, I was wondering whether it was due to the end of the Liverpool game too.

I have managed to get a fabulous deal on a bulk delivery of The Hamster Wheel of DOOM. It will enable all those who so desire to jump on and run like hell.

RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - JWJW - 18-03-2024

A brain would have people thinking that he has a minor injury and they did not want to aggravate it ahead of the international break, so as to let him heal properly and be 100% for the final run in.

However this will not fit with the "I support Forest but hate Marinakas and Hate Nuno and #Nunoout hashtag and everything is the fault of Marinakas and Nuno and until Cooper comes back I am going to be a whinger and moaner" narrative.
