Still not answering any of my questions then?? Can’t say I’m wishing for anything. Just not going to get into a debate about that little unemployable twat! RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Username - 06-04-2019 The fact is that when we used to have the opposition fans comments in the first half of the season most fans were extremely positive about us as a team and our style of football. Not one team we’ve played under Martin will say that about Forest so far. We have regressed. That surely can’t be questioned? The same squad of players plus a further six added in January yet we are barely recognisable. But fans who don’t go to games don’t seem to understand this. They’re still completely naive and blinded because they listen to Fray and co and read too much of Taylor. Only one worth answering is have a seen any of MON's football, and yep I have. Some decent, more so poor tho. That doesn't change my view that if MON goes we won't be picking and chosing managers like folk assume. We'll more than likely be making do with whoever we can get, just like we did with MON in the first place. Don’t think anyone’s daft enough to presume they’ll be picking and choosing there desired choice as manager. As always they’ll be some good options in there and they’ll be some bad. But what should happen is a sensible choice. Whoever it maybe, we support the club not necessarily the manager. And being such a Poisoned Dwarf obsessor, it does make me laugh why you can’t answer a simple question on why he hasn’t had a job since?? Please tell me why he hasn’t had a job since he left Forest?? Course I can answer that and i've told you before. Because, like SOD, Freedman, Pearce, Warburton etc.our club destroys managerial careers. Mostly through fans like yourself who hate on every manager to get them in the top 6. We're like a fat kid going through food in the hope of eating something that makes him thin, with no respect for anything we touch. Brian Clough had 3 years to get Forest out of this league. How about we give the prodigal son at least the 18 months of his contract? Writing off managers after 12 games or so is a form of modern madness. We have a handful of games left. We probably aren't going up. And need to start planning for next season. We have to be realistic and accept that changing managers half way through a season doesn't work and never has. If it did? We'd be in the Premier many times over. We can name call Billy all we want. His record, for Forest managers in the last 20 years, has no comparison. The only one to supersede him? Will be MoN with a pre-season and a Summer recruitment program with a cull of our lightweight, lopsided, injured, mediocre squad. A squad that wasn't built by him. I remember Leicester and Celtic...all his teams playing competitive football. Leicester could be quite dashing. I remember Elliot taking out Mikey Owen with the full body slam. SA. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Strawberry Avenger - 08-04-2019 And to be fair? You need a bit of that to get out of this league. Which Billy, also, fully understood. If we'd given Billy £25 million? We'd have bought Nickey Shorey out right (or out left) and been promoted by now. SA. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Username - 08-04-2019 Shorey only wanted to stay if no one else came in for him, that was always the case. Correct. Shorey had World Cup aspirations of his own at the time so anyone in there right mind would of chose a top flight club over us. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 09-04-2019 Fair comment in my opinion. I wouldn't touch Davies with a barge pole. A horrible man and a bitter nasty piece of work. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - the jock - 09-04-2019 i hope we keep Mon despite what we have seen in some games. he needs a proper window to get players suited to how he plays. we cant keep chopping/changing managers and bringing in loads of mediocre players its not working. we owe him that surely. |
