RE: Karim Ansarifard - Madforit - 24-12-2018

He needs time on the pitch to show us what he's made off, we surely should be thinking of letting Murphy go in January.

We definitely need another striker, by getting shut of Murphy we are freeing up wages, so that we can bring someone else in that isn't constantly on the sick like as list.

I really hope that they are planning on shifting out some of the dead wood at the club, and that Murphy is one of them, we need freshening up.

If so we will need to sign a new striker in January.

He wants to leave because he is not getting game time.

I don't think he is allowed to play for 3 different clubs in the same season?

So, if he leaves it will most likely be back to Olympiakos.

I thought he was awful and was lucky not to get sent off with his raised foot. Murphy came on, won headers, created a great opportunity for Grabban, actually ran at and past people.

Interesting how people can see the same things differently.

Nottingham Forest could be without striker Karim Ansarifard for up to a month - Nottinghamshire Live

Nottingham Forest could find themselves without striker Karim Ansarifard for up to a month, as they head into the new year.

The 28-year-old completed his move to the City Ground in November, having had to wait for work permit approval following the cancellation of his Olympiacos contract in August.

He has yet to start a game for the Reds but has made five appearances from off the bench so far, most recently in the 1-0 home defeat to QPR.

Just when they are heading into a crucial part of the campaign, with boss Aitor Karanka’s future under threat, however, Forest are set to be without one of their attacking options.

Ansarifard has been called up to the Iran national side by coach Carlos Queiroz for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, as part of a 23-man squad.

The competition, which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates, gets underway on January 5 and runs for almost a month, with the final on February 1.

During that period, the Reds have a trip to Premier League giants Chelsea in the FA Cup, followed by Championship clashes with Reading, Bristol City and Wigan Athletic – as well as a trip to Birmingham City on February 2.

Iran begin their tournament on January 7, when they take on Yemen in their opening Group D match.

They then play Vietnam on January 12 and Iraq in their final group game four days later.

Queiroz’s side will be out to win the Cup for a fourth time in the country’s history, though it is 43 years since Iran’s last triumph.

Just as well we have so many attacking options if Grabban get's a knock.

Ansarifard is leaving Forest, probably back to Greece and possibly to Aris.

Just not worked out, it is imperative we improve that area of the pitch.

Recruitment has to go up a few notches this summer

RE: Karim Ansarifard - stirred - 21-04-2019

Will we get a fee?

RE: Karim Ansarifard - stirred - 21-04-2019

Be nice to at least get a fee that covers his wages since he came. Could at least view the signing as more of a ‘neutral’ rather than another ‘miss’

RE: Karim Ansarifard - Spangles - 21-04-2019

Another complete waste of time and money.

RE: Karim Ansarifard - Sausage Roll - 21-04-2019

Personally I think these kind of signings need to stop. We need to get a fee to cover wages otherwise we've just wasted the money. I can see how they might help us bring a *bit* of extra income into the club, but is it worth it?

RE: Karim Ansarifard - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 21-04-2019

Aris don't really have much money to spend so if he went to Aris it would probably be a loan. If we want a fee then we will probably have to sell him to a club in another country but Ansarifard is married to a Greek like me so I think he wants a move back to Greece.
