We achieved everything as a team and Brice should realise that. His achievments were no greater than anyone elses. I would take the Millions currently on offer from Marseille if Brice wants to take the high horse. I mean if we're speaking rationally and not emotionally this is a sensible move on paper. Brice was rightly dropped last year during the season and whilst he improved in the latter stages we can't pretend his flaws don't exist. It would be sad for the dressing room and fans to lose him though. It wouldn't devalue his contribution to the promotion though RE: Brice Samba - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-06-2022 My first thought, who leaked this then, his agent? Funny how we dont hear about other ongoing contract negotiations. Not sure what he is after, not money but respect? A statue built and a shrine to his water bottle? A guaranteed start as No1 keeper more likely which I hope we dont give him. That said I really hope this can all be sorted out. Also hope it isnt about money, dont want to see this repeated with Brennan and others. RE: Brice Samba - nffc93 - 07-06-2022 RCLens's have been chasing him for months allegedly. If we get god money for him and get Pope as his replacement i'd say that's a prettyy good deal. It's a shame as i like him a lot, think he'd be great for the Prem but if he wants to go back to France then au revoir. RE: Brice Samba - Fumanchew - 07-06-2022 What would we value you him at now, now we’re in the prem? RE: Brice Samba - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-06-2022 Doubt we would get that much with 12 months on contract would guess around £3m. Cant see Pope coming unless we throw big money, certainly wouldn’t be a cost neutral swap. There are others though. RE: Brice Samba - BadDog - 07-06-2022 Brice brother on Insta : Don't bring in another keeper who's not better than Brice, give him the respect he deserves. That's the issue, Brice being no2. I dont care how good you are son, you dont pick the fxxxing team, Cooper does. Correct SM. This is all about egos isn't it and it probably won't end well. Nobody is bigger than the club. What does he want freedom of the city and a statue next to Cloughie? It won't go down well with EM either, EM don't do egos. This will be the end of Brice now, Cooper can't have people dictating. No coming back from this IMO, fully expect him to leave now. RE: Brice Samba - Plymouth red - 07-06-2022 There is a bit of the van hooijdonk about the situation. I guess if we can bring pope in then samba is free to realise his ambitions elsewhere. Shame, but good luck to him. RE: Brice Samba - JWJW - 07-06-2022 Horvarth did very well...........very very well. He is a better keeper than Samba...........Samba's distribution is better, but in the PL.......that is not so much an advantage, the ability of Horvarth to deal with crosses will be more important. Thanks Brice, but bye bye then. |
