RE: Europa League 25/26 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 11-12-2025 If the draw for a two legged play off was made today we would play PAOK. If my information is correct there won't be a draw as such. Instead the team that finishes 9th will play the team that finishes 24th and the team that finishes 10th will play the team that finishes 23rd etc etc. RE: Europa League 25/26 - stirred - 11-12-2025 Stats corner: “All 5 of our Europa Legaue goals under Dyche have come from set pieces” “The tricky trees boast the best clean sheet percentage of any club to play 50+ European games (25/51)” Now that second stat is quite something! RE: Europa League 25/26 - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-12-2025 11 points now. Almost certainly that’s enough for at worst a play off place so our Europe adventure should continue a while yet. Easier said than done of course. Probably need two wins, maybe 4 points could be enough? RE: Europa League 25/26 - Sausage Roll - 11-12-2025 11th in the table now. Two points from the automatic qualification places and four clear of the elimination ones. Nobody that we've either played or have left to play is in the same group of 9th to 16th as us. We've played three teams each who are in the top eight and bottom twelve and the two we've got left are both in the top eight which means they'll be tricky and essentially six-pointers for auto-qualification RE: Europa League 25/26 - stirred - 12-12-2025 (11-12-2025, 11:58 AM)stirred Wrote: Stats corner: Shame we didn’t extend this record! Quick look at the table and 2 wins looks like it’s in our hands, but I’d guess we need 6 points not 4. Looking at braga in the Portuguese league this season, they, like Utrecht play very differently. Braga avg league possession 65.3% avg Europa league possession 52.8% Utrecht avg league possession 48.4% avg Europa league possession 40.7% I think they’ll deffo let us play onto them more RE: Europa League 25/26 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-12-2025 A possible good thing is that when Ferencvarosi roll into town they may have already automatically qualified. We'd likely need to have won in Braga first though RE: Europa League 25/26 - JohnG - 12-12-2025 It dawned on me yesterday that we had been drawn to play 5 of the current top 8. With hindsight it was clearly a tough draw |
