Not having a go at Cooper at all but I'm just enjoying watching the same players go out and look like a decent prem team. Its a stark contrast to where the last manager thought the squad was. Id turn your comment on its head, Cooper did brilliantly for us but his work shouldn't be beyond criticism.

With salv on this - coopers body of work was excellent - no need to to criticise now as ultimately the results based decision did him in the end. Nuno has bags of top level management experience and a good team behind him - cooper needs to look at his back room staff in his next appointment.
I’m thankful that our results have improved. I wish both men good luck but if they were to meet this year I’d be fully behind Nuno.

I said I wasn't criticizing Cooper for goodness sake. The club wouldn't be where it is without him. He is a relatively young manager on an upward learning curve & I hope he looks at these last 2 games to see where he may have gone wrong so he can use that knowledge in any future appointments. He's a local lad to me & drinks in a pub just down the road, I'm one of his biggest fans.

If you don't see what he is saying towards Cooper isn't negative you need to get a grip.
I agree Cooper will learn and grow himself from seeing what happens when you take the hand break off.
He is a young coach but the difference in 3 games is actually stark.

Agree different tactics different outcome. It didn’t come together this year for Coops. However player seem fit and well trained and thats all cred to him. He will return even stronger after reflecting

Totally agree I saw it as a positive towards Cooper too. He can learn, he was always saying he wants to learn. In 10 days the side we have become he can learn from and stand him in good stead for his future and who knows he may end up back here one day.

Jokes aside I can't imagine a more perfect scenario but hopefully it'll be a long time in the future cos Nuno's gonna have us in Europe for the foreseeable

All managers have a sell-by date, even Cloughie. We thank them, remember the great times, and we all move on.
Steve did a great job for a time, but it was time for a change. It looks like in Nuno, we have another gem, and I am sure his time will come as well.
I seem to recall one manager saying that the only certainty is that we all get sacked!
I am sure that Steve will soon be in another job and I wish him all the best - just not against us.

The difference being that we are better for his tenure and there’s not many post Clough who you could argue left us in a better position than when they arrived.
For that reason he should be treated with the utmost respect and will no doubt get an excellent reception whenever he returns to the WFCG.
