I was there it was a great night and I will share a little story from what happened on the night which would never happen today thankfully. We travelled up by coach and after the match the coach pulled out from Stanley Park and bricks were being thrown and hitting the bus from all directions. Someone ordered the bus to pull up and stop which it did and everyone got off the bus and formed a circle around it. The bus then moved off at walking pace as we continued to circle the bus whilst fending off Liverpool thugs at the same time. The whole thing lasted about 20 minutes until the police got the situation under control and escorted our bus out of Liverpool. Different era back then and thankfully those days are well and truly over now.

Jasper I think we must have been on the same bus.
Was it the bus that left from outside the Salutation on Maid Marian Way?
We were all wearing green jackets like the one in my avatar.
