Widespread reports in Brazil suggest that Evangelos Marinakis has agreed a deal to buy #Botafogo, making it part of the same multi-sport group MCO, which includes #nffc.
Not true, I'm told. There are no negotiations going on.

not sure why marinakis would want to get involved in that - sounds like Textors businesses are a basket case.

If the moves we're currently working on all come off then it'll show that EM isn't intending to just make up the numbers in Europe. It'll be a lot of pressure on Nuno to deliver but hopefully he'll be up to the task.
Whatever controversy might come with EM nobody can accuse him of not putting his money where his mouth is. What a time to be a Forest fan!

Faint praise from Kaveh Solhekol on Sky Sports this morning. Talking about Palace and agreeing with the Martin Samuel article from yesterday which basically said that Palace would love an owner like EM.
