RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Salvatore Matrecano - 12-05-2025

Alan Rogers on Twitter. Think he about nails my thoughts.

My thoughts on the forest Chaiman going on the pitch ! Should never happen it’s a poor look. BUT! the passion this man has for the club is like something I have never seen in any other owner. He’s threw insane money to get this phenomenal club back to we’re it belongs and it’s just sheer frustration on his part to see us drop points. But he should stay off the pitch.

What astounds me is Prime minister Gary Neville’s comments before the Liverpool game in commentary. As you know Gary has to have a say on absolutely everything in the world. Rumours are he’s asked Trump can he join in the negotiations for peace with Russia and Ukraine. Busy c**t.

Neville has zero right to comment on any owners running on any club. His ownership of Salford has been a comedy sketch. Interfering in everything and have sacked 2056 managers on the way. Hes now part of new ownership there to cover up his disaster spell as owner in previous years which he’s threw hundreds of millions down the drain. He’s great on sky but one busy c**t. And way. Forest have qualified for European football next season. Let that sink in people. f*****g amazing.

As you and have a great Monday.

Yup - as a few of us have said it's quite possible to be thankful for EM's passion and investment (both financial and emotional) into Forest AND believe he was in the wrong yesterday.

It is a huge storm in a teacup. If you actually watch the video, it's hardly like he's squaring up to Nuno! He clearly said something expressive along the lines of WTF in a Greekesque way. I don't think I would have been able to hide my face reaction either, I would have been properly mardy.

Perhaps, as others have said, he might be better choosing to stay off the pitch, but other than that, I'm completely fine with it.

It was much worse than that.

Simon Jordan basically said he wouldn't have done it but sees nothing wrong with it. Goes in on Neville for his clickbait reaction

Wearing the red shirt paid thousands a week, not even trying to get in position. He clearly told the physio he was ok to play. Get on with it. Other players were pissed at him too. Yes, he may have cracked a rib, and it is horrendous pain. But looking at the bench pleading to come off rather than looking to contribute is unacceptable.

Many will disagree with this opinion, of course. Always a legend for his first season with us. We wouldn't be here now if it was not for his goals but come on.

Sure about that?

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Chicago - 13-05-2025

Yeah Jimmy that was a totally off colour comment. You didn't know the situation and you came up with that. Sniff on the other hand knows what Big M said and alluded it to be quite confrontational. Pity he cannot really elaborate but you can always send me a private message. The statement on the Forest website on the other hand seems to be written by the White House. Pretty crazy.

It's not boring at Forest I will say that...

Chicago: Emotive.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - The reds - 13-05-2025

I think the statement is pointless. Just say Awoniyi is recovering well and that's it.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sausage Roll - 13-05-2025

It's also a not very well hidden dig at Gary Neville.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Salvatore Matrecano - 13-05-2025

Decent statement and the obvious dig at Neville is fine but Im not sure Im buying it in its entirety that was the sole reason EM stormed onto the pitch.
Would he have done the same had we won the game? Just my opinion.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - ozzyten10 - 13-05-2025

Think this is an opportunistic way to make a point to carragher and Neville from last years escapades. I don’t believe for one moment that he went on because of concern for big T. It was because we lost our lead and the sub issue was an own goal and negated any chance of winning after the equaliser. The last 3 home games have not been acceptable - however, this is due to the raised aspirations and players and manager have so much credit in the bank…
