RE: Stevie Cooper - Jacksbadhobbits - 17-12-2023 Murphy’s signings, Williams Taiwo Mangala Toffolo Niakhate are standing up. After he left our transfers have been increasingly expensive and rubbish. whoever was responsible for wood shelvey danilo and sangare should resign. murillo the only one i think offsets those dreadful ones. RE: Stevie Cooper - Derby My Arse - 17-12-2023 Sure Murphy had no or very little imput into signings and it's well known that Syrianos was in charge of recruitment when we signed Taiwo, Mangala and Niakhate etc. Syrianos even had the title of head of recruitment or words to that effect at the time. RE: Stevie Cooper - Dog and Bear - 17-12-2023 Didn't even Cooper want rid of Murphy? He was out of his depth and sacked and nobody has touched him since. I am sure Coops only signed his contract extension once Murphy was removed. RE: Stevie Cooper - northeastred - 17-12-2023 Murphy wanted to sack cooper for marsch RE: Stevie Cooper - northeastred - 17-12-2023 (17-12-2023, 10:58 AM)Jacksbadhobbits Wrote: Murphy’s signings, Williams Taiwo Mangala Toffolo Niakhate are standing up. All the budesliga signings are syriannos mate, toffolo was signed as a sweetener to get O'Brien in, and Williams was a cooper recommendation RE: Stevie Cooper - Floridared - 17-12-2023 As we enter another week the uncertainty surrounding the managers post remains. No doubt he is now taking training for the Bournemouth game with more turgid football to come. Come on EM..either put out a statement backing Cooper or make a change. This state of limbo is no good for the players or the supporters or indeed for Cooper himself. RE: Stevie Cooper - ozzyten10 - 17-12-2023 There is absolutely no need for a statement. They either stick or twist which at the moment looks like sticking. He won’t survive a loss at the weekend though. He won’t survive a loss at the weekend though. But the problem is this week before the game is the chance to do it because we have a game 3 days later and then 4 days after that. He won’t survive a loss at the weekend though. It's been said after the last few games that he wouldn't survive it but he has. Probably survive the Bournemouth game also. EM made a statement last season supporting Cooper when the pressure was on, why not now? RE: Stevie Cooper - ozzyten10 - 17-12-2023 He’d be gone by now if he wasn’t getting the Bournemouth game. Perhaps they realise the squad is imbalanced with few forward options? My take is there is trouble convincing their first choice. RE: Stevie Cooper - northeastred - 17-12-2023 We have Mondays off. Always have. Unless there's a midweek game,He may go tomorrow. Perfect day to get someone in. Training Tues. Maybe we are struggling to convince our first choice, it’s been radio silence since the game finished so no one knows what is happening |
