Looks like Rodgers is very close to the exit door now.

But Tuchel has beaten him to it.

Pochettino, Zidane and Graham Potter all linked as his replacement.

Any sensible club would hire Potter and give him space to build a team that can beat Man City

Buts it’s Chelsea so they will hire Zidane and sack him again in less than a year.

They've been giving players massive contract lengths, I could see them do that with a manager. Coming from American sports, in season coaching changes are not very regular (only speaking based on NFL, not sure about other US sports)

Brighton have given Chelsea permission to speak to Potter.

Also want to speak to Poch too, feeling like a two horse race, although depends if Potter would be interested.

Not convinced Potters speciality is taking on all the mega money signings and egos in that dressing room. He is more about moulding a team, he may still be tempted though.

Meeting him this afternoon now with a view to appointing him. Moving pretty fast, seems like it's gonna happen.

Suspect Chelsea had already sounded this out in advance, imagine Brighton will be less prepared. I guess we'll see where they stand in a few days.
