This would also allow Yates to become the box to box player and not share the DM role with Colback, I also notice that Yates only seems to play either sideway or back passes, he needs to run with the ball, big lad he will gain us many free kicks in the oppositions half. Yes, interesting idea that. RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - ThePromisedLand - 29-10-2020 Wonder why the EFL won’t - as yet at least - release the details of 25 man squads. Or indeed why don’t all clubs? ( some have ) RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Username - 30-10-2020 “Looking at the options we’ve got, Tyler is not fit - but Yuri Ribeiro is fit and Gaetan Bong is also fit as well. “It’s something I’ll have to look at.” - Chris Hughton who could potentially replace Nicholas Ioannou at left-back tomorrow. He's got no choice but to replace him UN, Ioannou is on a 3 match ban! RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Username - 30-10-2020 I think that was a given Tricky. The word potentially was referring to the incoming options. I copy and pasted elsewhere and think it was missing the word “on”. It does make an awful lot more sense with the word 'on' in the sentence :D RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - PsychoStanleyStone - 30-10-2020 Reading managed to lose to Coventry tonight, a Reading win would of put them on a colossal 25 points so huge relief they lost, the season is still alive and winning the league still a possiblity, however, we need to start scoring far more goals and winning multiple games consecutively Basically we are at a stage of the season where draws are a waste of time, not saying there won't be decisive draws in later phases of the season .. but .. for the time being all that matters is winning .. in that .. now is the time that we can afford to gamble .. go for the win .. for me this is the problem, not that we aren't winning but we aren't setting up to totally overwhelm opposing teams in areas of the pitch where goals are scored in our favour RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Portchester Tricky - 31-10-2020 I watched the Coventry Reading game. My overriding impression was the movement of the Coventry team. The running in to space and making themselves available for passes was impressive. They were very fluid and busy. This is what we must aspire to. Its not rocket science. We just seem to over complicate things, and when a team presses us we find it hard to play through them. Most of the Coventry players I hadn't heard of. Compare that to our " streetwise " Championship friendly players. I just don't know what the answer is. You almost know we are going to be over cautious and frustratingly unable to score more than one goal. RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 31-10-2020 We’ve been down this road before with warburton. Lots of players moving into space and then getting picked off. Hughton does not play that way but he is doing the classic get tighter at the back and build from there. I’d be really interested to see if I’m eating my words but I can see us within striking distance come January RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Sabricadabra - 31-10-2020 I hope he goes with Bong. RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Frochy1977 - 31-10-2020 He will probably sit on the fence and go with jenkinson!
