I think we missed either Sangare or Anderson in the middle of the park and made it too easy for them to play through us.

Bring one of those back into the starting eleven and Lucca up front and we’re golden….

The last bit might have been slightly tongue in cheek albeit I actually thought he played well at Midtyjlland and could be a handful in the right setup

Lucca found his level vs Midtyjlland. Have to say thought Jesus was very poor on Sunday, reminded me of Lyle Taylor at times.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Porto - Marinakis Red - 14-04-2026

I was very surprised Jesus stayed on the pitch for so long on Sunday.

Thought Taiwo was the more obvious choice considering he cant play on Thursday but not even on bench. Is he injured again?

RE: Nottingham Forest - Porto - The reds - 14-04-2026

Looks like Jair is back.
I’d play this team
Ortega, Jair, Milenkovic, Murillo, Aina, Sangare, Anderson, Williams, CHO, MGW, Jesus

Not injured, Vitor confirmed just his choice.
Same with Lucca

I’m thinking go strong to start the match, tell them no excuses, you’ve got an hour tops before the changes, there’s your chance. Then 4 subs by the hour leaving one for a possible injury.

You control the minutes for the first pick players then too, else the extra time joker can come into it.

Might want your penalty takers to finish the match though.

Yeah that last point is the tricky bit. Maybe one of Anderson or Sangare to be on the bench, probably Neco too.

Wonder if Wood will start again or save him for the later stages. If Cunha is available I'd go for thr first choice back three.

Surely it’s Milenkovic or Murillo and not both?

Same applies with Anderson and Sangare.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Porto - Reds73 - 15-04-2026

He won’t want a starter on Sunday to play more than 60 mins.
So that means with 5 subs, 6 not starters will need to play 90 mins.

Morato, Cunha, Domingues, Yates, Ortega, Ndoye

No starting place for Bakwa or McAtee?
